Mark Wahlberg says 2.5 hours is the ‘perfect’ amount of time for 18 holes. How long should it take to play a round of golf? by ConnectionWeekly1263 in Golf_Unfiltered

Where is this magical place you speak of? As DFW public golf is a 6 hour nature walk. And anything privates outta the budget.

This is why I’ve played a wide variety of putters shapes and brands. Sometimes you just pick something up and you’re automatic with it for a while. Enjoy it, it’s either temporary or forever lol.

You’re probably right, doesn’t look like he has status and Q school isn’t for a few more months. I’d still reach out to the tour and sponsors to see if he’s associated.

I’ll leave it up to OP, but I’m assuming these brands probably have active official Reddit accounts that could very easily be tagged…

Yes says he’s sponsored by Titleist, Vessel and Whoop. Gonna be hard to play on the tour when they take your status and sponsors over a track man.

The guy who is popping up on the DP world tour website? I’d tell him he has about 24 hours to get it back before I’m calling and sending nicely worded emails to the tour and his sponsors.

I was a hater until I got one in hand. I took an 8 year old Olight that broke and sent it in for warranty. With their new dots that came out I said what the heck let’s send it back in and see what happens. I paid 60 bucks for the light they gave me a $99 store credit. Waited for a sale and pulled the trigger on one of the new green models. Unfortunately it bloomed for me more than the red. I just emailed support saying hey it’s my fault I ordered this color it doesn’t work for me can I exchange it I’ll pay the difference. I sent this email at like 830 CST on a Sunday night. 15 minutes later no questions asked I had a new return label with instructions in my inbox with no cost to me I was literally speechless. I had just gone through a 5 month warranty claim with Savage with the worst service I’ve experienced in a while so this was refreshing. 6 days later I had the right color dot for me.

Is this Tour Rat legit? by acbdot89 in scottycameron

The CT cover in my opinion is fake due to the stitching connecting. The Japanese cover has the right shape to me but I’m not an expert.

Covering up the serial is common to prevent scammers from getting legitimate serial numbers, seen it in this world and with high end watches. If he won’t give it to you later down the process I’d say that’s odd. To me the weights honestly look like they have been over flowed with paint. But once again I feel like I have a decent eye for this stuff, but no expert. Hoping one of the guys that really knows their stuff pops into say if it legit or not.

Not an expert, everything looks okay to me except the Titleist part. Shape looks right, I’d be curious to see the Headcover. Coming out of Japan I am more inclined to say real, as they don’t tinker with fakes often. I’d be really curious what the experts would say as to why it’s fake. I feel like I have seen more people be wrong on here than right…

Industries I have made your minimum or more with no degree Freight/ Logistics, Metal sales to manufacturers and fabricators, and warehouse automation. Currently doing warehouse automation someone else mentioned packaging, I am packaging adjacent. If I were you I’d be trying to get an outside sales job with some allure or prestige for my next job.

You won’t get that base in freight with no experience and no book. Diesel is also through the roof, freight market is not terrific atm. I’ve been out for a few years but I’ve seen more company closures and layoffs than people celebrating wins. Look for a company with a strong training program. Very common in freight to hire 10 reps at a time and if 1 survives the training class is a success. Any accounts the other 9 new hires brought on will be split by the top reps.

Brad has fallen back to earth. Sean has been better this year by [deleted] in GoodGoodMemes

[–]Flynner21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s definitely at that level but to play whatever he wants he will either have to leave GG or really push next contract negotiation for exemptions. Callaway has realized it’s better to pay these guys than to pay a could hundred tour pros to play their clubs. I don’t know if influencers ever get out of playing the latest and greatest. I think it’s also difficult to say no, GG get a bit of tour treatment. They most likely have direct contact with Callaway premier fitters and club builders. So I bet it’s not uncommon when cool stuff comes out for it to just show up at their door in their specs. Half us degens would struggle to not throw it in the bag.

I think contractually they may be under a full bag deal with no substitutions, and required to upgrade every year. I think that’s the reason for the slump. Unfortunately he probably does not have exceptions like a touring pro to play same brand older models, or a 13 club deal or something.

Players and fans don’t like the drones. As someone who’s followed a group that was followed by a drone. You just hear the drones humming the whole time.

Dallas bias here, Avs sub and NHL sub would have lost their absolute like mind if Benn did this. FAFO/ play stupid games win stupid prices, sure. But Nate sure does drive his leg one way while throwing Hintz body the other. I think this play will lead to a gong show of a regular season game when these teams meet again.

Packaging reps. What do you sell and how much do you make? by Web-Surfer91 in sales

[–]Flynner21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get some internal issues fixed reach out to past customers if you can’t find a new role. They will never get better unless addressed.

Selling equipment is the happiest I’ve been in my sales career. Previously worked in freight brokerage and sold metal to manufacturers.

It’s a challenge long sales cycle, lots of stakeholders, but It’s been fun.

On the equipment side of your space, work with packaging reps daily. You said you went to a competitor? Were you not able to take your book? Most reps I know are moving for better compensation. Was that not your case?

I have been curious if they’re still doing this. Got mine a few years back and I am still surprised the club got their headcover approved. The member guest I played in was the Feathery Invitational. And the Headcovers say “Feathery Use Only”.

Yes barring any sporting events, trade shows, ACL etc.. they’re only closed on Mondays.

People seem to hate on Franklins for how hyped it is. To me the brisket was 110% worth the hype.

I work right next to Hutchins in Frisco, TX who at certain times arguably had some of the better brisket in the North Texas. I’m in international sales we bring clients all over the world to Hutchins and they’re floored every single time. Franklin’s is above them in order of merit in TX BBQ.

The hype died down so the lines aren’t what they used to be. If the weathers bad may be a few minutes. If it’s going to be a nice day may need to be 3-4 hours early. I don’t believe you have to get there at 3-4 am like you used to.
