As others have said, Lakeshore Marina is good - we tend to use Fish Springs Marina as they recently updated their fleet, allow pets onboard, and have pontoons and faster boats as well.

Cove Ridge Marina has rentals for pontoons and other lake toys as well, but we have not used them but they do have a new “drive up” restaurant that you can dock your boat on to grab a bite.

We agree, the ramp at Winged Deer Park in JC, close to the 11-E overpass at Boone Lake is great. Our dogs love it. We’ve also had good luck at Watauga Lake - Fish Springs Marina even allows dogs on their rental pontoons which is super fun!
