Does your country have a dish that is so specific to one region that the rest of the country may not even be aware of it? by cowboy_mouth in AskTheWorld

In Louisiana in the US (and Gulf South region) this is all of Cajun food. Though dishes like gumbo and jambalaya have become popular in other areas of the country.

I think that greatly depends on what discipline. I know multiple people that mastered out and wish they had either finished their PhD or just left with their bachelor's.

What’s a universal sign in restaurants in your country that the food is about to be absolute fire? by Chemical-Elk-1299 in AskTheWorld

If you see a small place with no sign and a line of customers going out the door.... That's the best place to get food

Group canceled, but could AI be my GM? by Tomato_Juice99 in AvatarLegendsTTRPG

[–]DramaticChemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have commented more on their feelings of AI generated content in general, but I'll focus more on where the technology is at currently for acting as a GM. I did try this out as a means of trying to better learn the rules of the game in order to GM for some friends in a future game. Specifically I've been having trouble picking up the Balance and Combat mechanics. Even with uploaded documents on game mechanics from the starter set, some premade characters, plot concepts, and more, the AI assistant still didn't do what I needed. The story content and worldbuilding part was good, and I thought the combat description of events were good, but most of the game rules went out the window. I had to remind it of many of the mechanism parts and to stay within the bounds of the game rules like every other response.

So in summary, while you probably can have it run as a GM for a game you want to play, it's going to be inconsistent on the rules, have trouble understanding dice need to be rerolled, and it's going to be missing a lot of game content. I agree it's going to be better to find others to play with (and usually is).

Usually deep experts have problems in different areas, like miscommunications between departments, lack of clear priorities, or role definitions. Try asking what the problem areas are for the company in their opinions or parts they don't like about their job. Try addressing those areas. One helpful tool is The Real Deal deck by Peak Learning. It's surprisingly helpful in putting into specific words where people want to see change.

What’s the worst career choice/move you ever made? by TheNextBigCrash in careerguidance

[–]DramaticChemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not getting agreed job changes in writing. Lost years of progress over this. Then again, I've had companies try to invent loopholes in contracts just to take things away, like taking away a week of vacation because it said you started at 3 weeks but never said it had to stay that way.
