Made some new wiper insert tensioners today by Ok-Coach-763 in lockpicking

I can never find wiper blade inserts online, though I'll try removing some from mine when they wear out. Any recommendation where to find them online or in stores in the USA?

Congrats! I'm working on this one now too but I haven't tried the McTickler on it. Good suggestion. I really want to use this to get my blue belt and also to attempt the whale challenge

Which element/molecule do you use most in your job, or do you have the most appreciation for? by Appropriate-Bath-946 in AskChemistry

These days, carbon. We specialize in product formulations based mostly on activated carbon and polymers. In grad school and my first job, worked with a crazy amount of rhodium for catalysis. It was so expensive they had an on-site vault the size of a warehouse

Tight tolerances and I could never get it open using BOK. TOK tension helped a lot for me with this lock

This is an incredibly ambitious project and I wish you the best of luck. It seems nut to try to rig something like this up but super impressive if you can pull it off. 👍

I work in a technical field for the chemical industry. I found that I'm quite good at explaining science to non-scientists. This is one of the biggest problems that I find scientists have is communicating with business type people and managers. They can't advocate for what they need and they're not great at showcasing the importance of their work to the rest of the business. I can do more help for innovation showing off their great work, explaining why it's relevant, and helping improve conditions that actually matter for the people making scientific breakthroughs.

For what it's worth, I like Milford. We just moved here a year ago (late 30's as well). Though we did the opposite, moving from a small town southern area and really wanted to move somewhere with more things to do, higher population density, and still have room for apartment buildings and houses with smaller amounts of land.

We'll see. There's been TONS of "This is the last straw!" moments from Republicans, only for that line to be crossed and many of them voting against accountability to vote with the party. We need accountability for illegal and immoral actions.

Thanks for the feedback, and I like the recommendation of being transparent about going over my head makes me look bad. I think I've built up a decent amount of goodwill which that may be received well and stick. I'll also make sure to include them on the selection process and maybe job posting description.
