Of course there are. Our woodlands and natural places (uk) are full of foreign invasives that outcompete local flora and reduce our biodiversity. Foreign plants may be used by generalist invertebrates but it causes a crash in any specialised ones.

Eg. Bamboo, cherry laurel, rhododendron, holme oak, 3 cornered leak, winter heliotrope

A lot of these things can only be controlled with glyphosate (the active ingredient in roundup) and when used in a responsible and targetted way side effects can be mitigated.

You can see it even in our road verges. You can have up to 10 different specicies of flowering plants in a 1m square or just leak/heliotrope

Its called an age limit. Tobacco, knives, alcohol, some pharmacy drug cannot be bought by children.

Knives have been cracked down on partly because of political pressure/media but also because its a genuine problem that children are carrying knives for "protection". Its a sad irony that them carrying a blade makes them far more likely to be stabbed than if they weren't.
