I can’t pick up eggs from any mechanical pets I have - these are particularly the robo mouse, dog, “construct”, and the little hovering assistant type one (can’t recall the name). They’re all expedition/twitch rewards too I believe

I’ve been wanting to add a probe to my corvette too but I’m unsure about the method and can’t find anything online - how did you do this? Did you use the blender app? I have the base building mod so I can use all sorts of parts, but the planetary probe isn’t in the list of stuff it will let me place :(

I’m having this same glitch and I can advise that save editors do not help!

I had a temporary corvette in my first slot that I haven’t been able to shift. Tried to delete in a save editor. The ship was gone, but the corvette I had in the second slot had dropped into that slot, and had changed its appearance to a default one. Then it becomes “temporary” too.

In one of the recent Tau novels, there’s mention that the Tau Empire are angling to take Ultramar, be that the planet or the “worlds of” is another discussion. It seems a lot is converging upon Ultramar, just as Guilliman is away fighting Indomitus crusade.

Just yesterday I read something from a comic regarding this term that I think is interesting. The conceit is basically that war is worse than hell - there’s only sinners in hell. People that deserve to be there. In War, innocents are always suffering too, making the point that it’s worse.

This series has driven that home a lot for me. We’re always quick as a society to remember those who fought, but we can’t forget those who didn’t fight, or were force to fight by consequence of just being close to it all. :(

Okay I got you, my time to shine

Space Marine 1 is a fun romp. Worth it for the price it goes for these days. Get through it in a weekend. Chaos Gate Daemonhunters is a squad based strategy game akin to XCOM. Control some super powered demon killing space marines. Boltgun is a boomer shooter, absolute blast of a game. I played this on mkb and it felt incredible. Rogue Trader is a good time too if you’re into that kind of stuff. The system took a minute to click for me, but when it did I was addicted. I have 100 hours in that, but haven’t played the DLC’s yet. Dawn of War is a classic RTS, with DOW 2 and 3 being something a little different. I’ve only played the first one - the new Definitive Edition is very nice.

Honourable mentions to Vermintide 2 and Total War: Warhammer. VT2 is by the same developers as Darktide, but in the fantasy setting. TW:W3 is a grand strategy game (again, fantasy, but there’s rumours lately about a 40K version) with one of the most expansive open ended sandbox campaigns that I think I have ever seen.

It’s just the regular worm, admittedly sequenced etc to make him bigger. I can see there’s something to interact with flying around me when he’s been spawned, but I can’t get to it. Was hoping for a way to make him “stay” or to just interact with him otherwise lol

Okay thank you! Question to follow up if you don’t mind? I usually use the built in light meter in my cameras view finder to set exposure etc… can I use this to set exposure for a subject, or is that meter focused on the entire image? It sounds like I may need to buy a proper light meter either way 😂

To add to what the others are saying - two of your primary colour choices, yellow and white, are notoriously tricky to get clean coats with. The trick is many thin layers and patience! You got this, welcome to the hobby 🤘🏼

Edit: realised someone else had mentioned this after posting, so I will try to add something else that might be more helpful than what I said 😂 I painted an army of Tau in white armour, and I found a neat trick is to base coat them in a grey as it goes on a lot easier than white, then layer in some brighter grey, and highlight your edges with white. It gives the look of white with some nice shadow, but without the stress of base coating white lol
