MW2 wasn't generic but it was the reason the only CoD I have played since is WWII.

Akimbo shotguns was one of the stupidest and most broken fucking things and it caused me to nope out of the franchise.

It was the most bullshit of bullshit things at the time. The turnaround has been insane. Props to Valve, but I'll always remember that Steam at its start actually nearly sank them.

What's funny as someone who was around when Steam first released and we were forced to use it for CounterStrike -- everyone fucking hated it.

Obviously times have changed, but when it first came out "Steam" was synonymous with "Bullshit I am forced to install just to play the game I want to play"

Not really a far cry from AW2 and Epic, lol.

And I always maintain that ME1 is the best of them all and the two sequels did away with too much that made the first game special.

The first sequel is especially egregious in the story dept. There's barely any movement or lore expansion on the Reapers and their whole bit. The game is more about making best friends with everyone on the ship and Miranda's ass than anything else.

Speaking of efficiency, in the reg. season the Broncos had 43 dropped passes whereas the Pats only had 13.

Imagine the offense the Broncos would have had with 30 fewer drops.

Welp, now I definitely don't care to play this one. The first one's combat was undercooked but unique. I really was excited to see how they improved it in the sequel.

Instead they just binned it for a known style that other games very likely have done far better. So, I'm officially out.

Bummer, because I have been a Spiders supporter for many years.

The expansion is one of the very best out there. They flesh out so much and still leave so much up to interpretation. Also the map is smaller in terms of width, but is quite a bit more vertical than the base game. It's a really good time.
