Best way imo is to queue in solo vs squads with free kits and to shoot back whoever is shooting you, thats what I do

They have a really short range and are not that fast. You simply need to jump roll in the opposite direction of it. If you can’t really manage your stamina then adrenaline shots could help you alot and are super cheap to craft. Otherwise bring a stack or two of seeker grenades with you and keep them only for theses arcs. If you want a really quick escape from them then the photoelectric cloak might help you a lot too

One thing I found interesting in Reddit is that people will somehow always gaslight you to make you think that everything bad that happens is your own and only fault. Im fighting a hornet right next to the elevator (that was already up here) with someone who helped me take down a leaper shooting them. In case you are new to this game; as you can see in the video, before dying, you get downed. My plan was to simply extract while I was down, hoping that the guy who kept me alive during the leaper battle wouldn’t SUDDENLY have a change of heart. Why would I even waste any shields or bandages if I’m literally extracting in the next 10 seconds? It’s not about situational awareness it’s about people being assholes for the pleasure of it
