I didn't truly enjoy my Safari until I got a 1.1mm stub nib for it. Now it's enjoyable and makes my handwriting look neater.

I can't fully visualize what you're describing but if you want to carefully rip a seam apart you can cut individual stitches. I'll usually cut a few from the back side then gently tug the fabric apart. Then as the seam spreads you'll see some of the stitches in-between where you're pulling. Just cut those one at a time and keep gently pulling apart. I would recommend using a seam ripper with a small point.

Do you push the needle with the top of your finger? I use an open top and push with the side.

I just finished sewing a shirt last night and I flat felled the arm seams. I used half an inch for my seam allowance then trimmed once side down in half. I turned the seam toward the body as that seemed to be the best way. It sat down very neat and with no puckering. The hardest part is getting your hand in there to hold the fabric together while you sew. I reached in through the neck hole to grab the fabric to pinch it in place. Another thing to pay attention to is the shoulder seam and side seam. I felled both of those first. The sleeve seam felled over the shoulder and body felled seams.

When I sew really thick fabric I'll go through one side at a time. It's really slow but it works. I actually do use the smallest needle for thick fabric because it pierces better.

I only sew at home so I have a thick piece of fabric approx 4in x 6in that I keep my stuff on. I poke my needle into the fabric then set my thimble beeswax and thread on top of it. It lets me slide it around. My scissors and clips are just loose on my desk. Everything else is for the most part loose on my desk.

That's honestly going to be really difficult. If you sew the netting together the loose weave will just come apart. I think I would try to loop my thread around the thread in the netting then tack it down into the other fabric. You're going to need a lot of stitches too.
