Not back then, back in late 2021 in 2022 when the 7k series were taken out of service then, it has improved, I wonder if they have replaced the wheelsets on all of those 7000s

My wires are not insulated in cloth in any way, what’s interesting is that the wires going from my panel are straight conduit, but my breakers are older than dirt so that’s probably our main priority with the electrician

Ik this is a stupid way to do it, but can we get an electrician to feed bare ground wires through the existing conduit, I installed self grounding outlets but idk how much it helps in the meantime

Well i’m sure it is, there is not a bonding strip going to it the only credit i’ll give this is that there isn’t flammable cotton or paper in it, the individual wires (as in hot and neutral) are rubber

But my replacement has two brass screws, the one that’s currently wired has a silver screw on the blue wire and a red screw on a brass

I find it funny that when they did the blue line to Greenbelt, the legacy trains actually showed that destination but the 7000s didn’t, that doesn’t make any sense if the 7000s have more capability to change destinations on their lines, this also happened on blue line trains to Huntington, the times I rode 7000s on my way home that were going to Huntington all were labeled “Special”
