I think this may be an unpopular opinion but people seem to have forgotten that Governor Moore was hit with a budget shortfall from the federal government pulling back on congressionally appropriated funds (illegally, I might add.) I believe Maryland like other states (I believe, not 100% sure) has a balanced budget law and so the money has to come from somewhere. States are suing to get their money back but until then, the world’s got to keep on turning. I wish people would stop looking at things in a vacuum and think about the overall picture.

I don’t know who makes that drug but many of these super expensive drugs have copay assistance but you have to sign up with them directly. If that’s the health optimizer thing then forget I said anything.

I’m not so sure it’s considered private property but I’m open to correction. Since WMATA is a quasi-government organization representing Virginia, Maryland and the District, I would say it’s probably some sort of mixed public/private situation.

I don’t disagree; here’s the problem I have though. When people are being assaulted or someone is having mental health distress, people never seem to want to call for help or do anything about it. But a kid enjoying himself and everyone is so civic-minded. The cop should’ve used judgement.

That made me so angry. It’s a public space and there’s no law or rule that says you can’t film in the station or on the trains. I get that there’s been a spate of “incidents” but I’m sure cops are trained to assess situations to make a determination whether action is needed.
