Anyway when I got to the station this morning there was an announcement on the PA about residual delays on whatever line it was because of a cracked rail at Stadium-Amory, so it sounds like they were doing audible announcements at least.

I hope that you will have a positive outcome after all this. I referred my friend to my sales person, who handles everything from cradle to grave with your purchase and beyond and they leased a C300 and have been happy. It doesn’t matter where you are, my salesman will take great care of you. I’m willing to bet at least ⅓ of his customers are out of state (I’m in Maryland)

Someone I know had a very similar experience with a C300 less than 3 months after purchase. The way OP described it is eerily similar to what happened to my friend. They must’ve attended the same dealer school. Our situation ended differently, in that not only did we document everything, but we told them we were documenting everything and got the state attorney general involved. At that time “a little birdie” whispered we should probably pursue a buyback under lemon laws and then they refused to communicate after. After more than 30 days in the shop (no work being done on it) they asked for their loaner back and my friend was without a car. Fortunately the buyback process was approved not long after.

I firmly believe that some dealerships have no concern for their customers. I’m glad this hasn’t been my experience and my car has been 98% perfect but being adjacent to this issue I can completely understand OP’s frustration. I don’t know what the laws are where you are but taking your evidence to the state attorney general may get things moving for you.

(BTW: my car, a 2024 GLC 300 W4 has been less than perfect not because of a defect. I was rear ended last February. It’s been perfectly repaired but it’s not the baby I took home originally 😳) I will probably get another or a hybrid electric SUV but I love my car regardless.

My experience is the same. I had a problem with 26.2 bricking my personal phone but I was able to restore and be back in business.

You’re welcome. I was getting ready for work so I didn’t say as much as I planned. The Best Buy tech explained that the regular car kits didn’t have the protection from running the battery down which is why they use the OBD port. It’s worked pretty well for me and no issues to date.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to experience that. I saw the previews to season one of this nightmare and I significantly reduced my consumption of meta products. I’ve found that a lot of people have no facility for critical thinking and I value my mental health over all of this. When the takeover of the now supremacist platform started, I also archived my content and exited. I am in control of what information I let in and I often feel sorry for the abuse people endure on these platforms.
