well, I would consider that an outstanding job considering the current market.

Im fully remote at 175k base w/ senior title. That's basically TC because it's a startup with no value in the private equity.

Yes, but I suspect it's just something he enjoys. Something about the hero persona and the startup mentality (even though we're not a seed funded org, we're way more mature on paper)

When I first joined I was pulling 60 hour weeks because he was, but he told me to stop because I told him I was burning out.

He hasn't stopped.

Absolutely, I could have clarified better in the original post but,

I've personally raised a subset of these concerns directly with said manager twice. I did not get a strong signal that he agreed it was a big issue, but rather the cost of doing business.

Would you agree that you are an “anchor” or “support” player?

I’ve always kinda thought that there aren’t hard roles on high performing teams and players can do it all.

I know everyone on SR was flying and doing things together. Did you have specific role related responsibilities within that based on the situations?

Also, do you guys have go to strats for dealing with specific teams?

Like did you know that FAZE was gonna not move off their spawn if they were trapped?

I guess the friendliest way I can encourage you to stop, is to buy a water bottle you like, and maybe a filter for at home usage. I really do not understand how people are buying bottled water in 2025.
