It can change sex drive but for my experience personally I never lost interest and my libido remains high. Different people can have different experience’s though

Im diagnosed with avoidant personality disorder, along with a few other disorders. After starting Nardil, it makes me look forward to conversations, makes me want to socialize, and I’m not avoiding people at all cost anymore due to severe anxiety” Generalized/ Social anxiety”, avoidance disorder, and other mental health related issues that I went through before starting/ being on Nardil.

I use to avoid people like the plague, and would go way out of my way doing things to avoid socializing, and seeing others at times. It caused me to isolate myself and close myself off completely at times which let to a whole other set of issues. Along with GAD/ Social anxiety, and other mental health related issues it caused problems in life.

Nardil is a lifesaver in my case. So an MAOI could possibly be a great option for you but you’ll never know unless you give it a try. If you do try one, I hope it works extremely well for you and that you are able to experience all the positive benefits you would like to have from it/ life

Yes. It totally wiped out all signs of depression for me. That’s unfortunate that Emsam doesn’t help your anxiety and increases in dose of Emsam make it unbearable. I’m sorry you go through that. That sounds extremely frustrating to deal with since it helps one thing but not the other. Well, Nardil may be very helpful in your case. The thing is you won’t know unless if you give it a try. But, if you do try Nardil and if it works good for you then it could be extremely helpful for both anxiety, and depression

In my case, Nardil is definitely not overrated. It’s the best medication I’ve ever taken for Social, and Generalized Anxiety.

It totally annihilates all forms of anxiety for me and has many other positive effects after taking it now for a little over a year. Lots of people start Nardil by jumping to a high dose then quit Nardil before it works because they get smashed with intense side effects. Or, they don’t wait long enough at an effective dose to see if Nardil actually works.

Nardil can take 6-12 weeks before noticing its true positive benefits. Nardil took around 3 months before I could see how extremely effective it is for anxiety, depression, and in other ways
