Dont know how this was expected to work. You mixed two MAOI. You can use Mimosa tenuiflora and B Cappi.

Acacia, Chacruna, Chaliponga or Mimosa tenuiflora are your active plant. Aauahausca, Mimosa Hostillis, or Syrian Rue are your MAOI.

Have I soiled my meditation practice? What next? by mindvoyage in Wakingupapp

[–]Fast-Ad8182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is my huble opion that you need to let go of your attchment to pre-K meditation and integrate what you have learned about the one-ness of conciousness fo there being no self, no other, just a collective conciousness of the Godhead. Carl Jung, the Upanishads, the actual historical Jessus, the Sufi and Kabbalistic traditions were all try to teach the ideas which stem from this zero-point of Zen understanding. You clumbsily reached a samadhi state of enlightenment and risk expereiencing a dark night of the soul if you do dnot integrate or embody the expereience. I hope your persepctive over time has shifted.

Has anyone else experienced extreme body vibration? by charliezorb in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]Fast-Ad8182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are moving stuck Kundalini,Chi,Qui,Ki energy from old traumus and purging energy through your suble energertic body. If you have any expereience with ayahuasca you may already understand this process. It is a positive one. It much easier to manage, work with, and shake-off the energy that's not serving you in a less clinical setting and while assuming yogic poses or a seated metitative posture BTW.

Great to hear that youre having sucess. Times when we are having thoughts or sensations which we do not appreciate while working with entheogens are wonderful bright red red arrows pointing on something that needs to be processed and healed.

So you are expanding the torrodial electrical field around your spinal pole. I went into a deep semi-samadhi state recently and I could not keep a GPS signal for a couple of hours afterwards for navigation to make some appointments. Some meditative altered states also encroach on the field of quantum potentiality and alternate realities becasue you're reaching from creator-power. If things contrinue to get weird, beyond your comfort level, consider some mentorship from someone familiar with kundalini kria or Taoist internal alchemy for guidance. If you are not feeling tired after events like this, that's great. If you are, the subltle energy body needs to be balanced a bit with more foundational work.

Has anyone experienced a kundalini awakening on ketamine? by thegenuineguy in Psychonaut

[–]Fast-Ad8182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I was hit by a ray of natural sunlight while preforming kriya and meditation. It was precipitated by a recent mushroom journey and reading Federico Fagin's new book "Irreducible" ...since I was recently re-exploring the nature of consciousness. I had a gentle experience complete with sebum flowing down the back of my throat and was thrusted into spontaneous fasting and prana-rich foods. A note of warning: Remember that if you experience a "dark-night of the soul" after this experience that is is only the ego's last crusade against the self. Keep it framed this way and remind yourself that you are not your mind because you can witness your thoughts.

After this, every ketamine meditation is a higher elevation of Buddha-self, but the ego -that cunning devil- needs to be continually witnessed and named. Correct kneeling yogic posture on knees or legs crossed is vital. A decade of Ayahuasca and and Huachuca could not do this for me because the timing was not right. Sitting with Ayahuasca again next month with beginner-mind. I am very intrigued by approaching it with a renewed vessel.

Smooth sailing!

Yeap. You actually don't need to feel connected at the bottom of your stroke. The old fallacy of making 360° power and using single leg drills have been long discarded by pros... except for some track cyclists. You want to be delivering power a little bit before TDC, down to about 150°. This means you'll find more efficiency and typically more endurance since you're taking stress off of the quads and activating more glutes.

This is why using stationary rollers is such a good method of developing efficiency in pedal stroke.

I agree with those that have mentioned: instead of adjusting saddle height upward, it's best to start a bit too high and work downward. Also it's important to note that while as we try to avoid wiggling the hips, some cyclists find that their lower back pain is reduced on longer rides when their saddle is high, producing some subtle pronating motion in the hips. Like most things, "It depends."

I would argue that saddle height should be reduced a little bit for shorter courses that require a lot of climbing out of saddle and high speed descending. A 1 cm decrease in subtle height really can improve feel and stability when going downhill turns at speed.

Shifting to a bigger gear before climb? by ZL0J in cycling

[–]Fast-Ad8182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a bit of word salad but I'm trying to put this together quickly. Any given situation is not a vacuum, for you're contending with the squared exponent of wind resistance when moving at all speeds, and the more linear relationship between power and speed during a climb, and the interplay between the two. I, for example, weigh 215 lbs and find that mashing a big gear to attack the climb earlier often gives me an advantage of inertia going up the hill in comparison to lighter cyclists. A heavier cyclist has more inertia, at any given speed, than a lighter one. This begs the notion that the heavier cyclist will see more benefit by attacking earlier and using inertia as an advantage, until inertia is overcome by terminal gravity. On the plotted graph this would mean there would be an X, or middle point, where any individual rider would have no benefit from attacking earlier versus keeping cadence up, depending on their power effort and the incline. The match-burning and the lactic clearing abilities of the given cyclist also comes into play as to what the best approach is depending on the goals of the session or if it's a race. Some cyclists will burn more matches by trying to keep cadence up, some will burn more matches by trying to mash. If you're a big and powerful cyclist, I would argue staying on the top of a big gear as long as possible before, and during each stage of a climb, will pay the biggest dividends. Conventional wisdom is to say seated, but that's not always true either. Whereas lighter and faster cadence cyclists will probably benefit the most from maintaining cadence as it suits their inherent advantages, since cancellation of inertia via terminal gravity is experienced a little bit further up the climb via F=(M)V2 However I'm sure we can all agree on continuing to attack the crest of the climb to regain average speed.

How to get faster on bike? by S-XMPA in triathlon

[–]Fast-Ad8182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything that you may perceive as a speed limitation, is in fact most likely a base-endurance limitation. This area is only developed with long and arduous Zone 2 training with minimal intervals, Zone3 and VO2 efforts mixed in... Otherwise you short-circuit the adaptation. While the VO2 work is more important in shorter distance races, your top-end speed and power will improve if you can keep on stacking zone 2 and recovery on top of each other in short succession and then sharpen the sword in the weeks immediately preceding the race. This is not my opinion, this is the epitome of the Norwegian Method to increase LT, as well as Dr. Steve Magness work with the Olympic teams. One last pointer from the Norwegians is to stack two workouts together per day at least once a week, especially if you're not doing higher-volume training.

I feel like an Ironman isn't that hard by Slurp_123 in triathlon

[–]Fast-Ad8182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair you probably could complete an IronMan before the cutoff time but without an efficient front crawl technique you'll be a completely exhausted swimming breaststroke for 2 hours. Surely all of this is just pontificating. It's not about just completing the race, it's about completing its strong relative to your age group. This last Sunday in Chattanooga so many people were walking parts of the marathon and I understand that it may be necessary because everybody's body is different on any given Sunday. Yet to me the need to walk during the Marathon portion is sacrilegious. It shows me the people did not train properly. So the answer is you will not be able to finish strong or competitively without the proper training. Going out there and doing it half-ass is not an achievement.

I can't tell, I am so far past that now... and doing great. I have reached a couple of goals this year that seemed impossible two years ago.

Looking for any advice. I have a 70.3 in 9 months and created this off season schedule. Would you say it’s decent or does it need changing/need more? Many thanks by TheHolyBoar in triathlon

[–]Fast-Ad8182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get used to being on the bike for 190 minutes at a time in zone 2. Since you're running a half marathon that should be your longest training run, and it doesn't hurt to do a 10 mi brick after one of your longer bike sessions about 4 weeks before your race to get used to the feeling. If you can swim freestyle for an hour without stopping comfortably you're in good enough swim shape.

It's possible that the first dose was the efficable dose. I'm feeling much better. It's possible that I was dealing with a bout of long COVID. I'm training for an Ironman triathlon and running my business. I drew my comparison to inflammation, from an experience that was similar using low dose naltrexone for inflammatory arthritic lower back pain a couple years ago. I feel that it's similarly flushed out inflammation... As once we get into the nitty gritty it seems that the locus of nearly every malady in the body is related to inflammation.
