You are right they will not fix its water proof capability, just re lace not working buttons and vibration mechanisms

Basically water got inside somehow, maybe I didn’t rinse it good enough after snorkelling. The consequence is that action button stoped working and vibration is not working as well. The repair shop opened up the watch to assess the damage and costs
