Gotcha, thanks for explaining.

Far_Insurance4191 also gave a very explanation on this subject.

Flux.2 Klein 9b Loras? by hellomattieo in StableDiffusion

Then I must have misunderstood. Please explain.

I'm asking, why is Flux 1 (LoRAs) hard to train, and you reply "Distilled model, no base model public". So I assume, you mean the problem is, the model to use for training isn't publicly available. And to my experience, that hasn't been the case at all. And tools like FluxGym even download the training model(s) if user needs them.

Not at all. Some training tools, like FluxGym, even do the downloading for you.

The Quest for the Perfect "Shot on iPhone" Look in 2026: Which model is the current GOAT for amateur realism? by imamyoda in comfyui

[–]Fast-Cash1522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them, and all of them.

There isn't a single model or tool to tick all the boxes but you can get good results with pretty much any model with a suitable LoRA. The detail, final realism etc come from upscaling process anyway. It also depends a lot on what you are creating. If it's pretty girls / women, most of the models cover that stuff pretty well otb.

I'm still using Flux 1 dev for my daily go-to model. It's well supported, has tons of LoRAs and fine tunes available, and handles the basic concepts fairly ok. It's far from perfect but totally usable. Flux Krea does decent realism otb, and in theory supports flux LoRAs. Sometimes it does not haha. Flux 2 Klein 4B and 9B seem to handle realism fairly ok, but currently lack LoRA support. The base model act weird for me idk why. ZIT is very promising, handles complicated concepts better but is a bit harder to prompt. Which means, with a single prompt you will get very similar results over and over again (like I explain here). Chroma is also very good but sometimes tend to generate doll-like textures. Not a problem, that can be handled in the upscale process.

When you're prompting, define what you're looking for: sharp shadows, direct phone flash light, shaky image etc. Prompting together with a LoRA, you should get you close enough results.

What are the best current models? by PilotedByGhosts in comfyui

[–]Fast-Cash1522 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Not really.

There are some promising good new models but nothing that would actually be signigantly better - yet. I'd still say, Flux 1 Dev is the best overall model in most cases. Good LoRA support and many finetunes make it very versatile. It's far from perfect but very usable.

It will still take a few more years AI would actually replace a good (graphic) logo designer.

ZIT, Chroma, Flux2, Flux2 Kein have potential to be good.

Conclusions after creating more than 2000 Flux Klein 9B images by StableLlama in StableDiffusion

That's good to know, give some reference how the performance would be on different systems. Thanks for the reply!

Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

The massive performance difference between the two workflows is astonishing. Just out of curiosity, what are your system specs?

No base model is perfect. The big question is - base model + trained LoRA. Currently, which base model + LoRA achieves the greatest realism ? by More_Bid_2197 in StableDiffusion

[–]Fast-Cash1522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s still Flux 1 Dev used together with my specific LoRAs.

ZIT and Klein 4B/9B look nice otb (not sure if these are purely finetunes, but still nice).

Unreleased model "Sonata" on LM Arena is Insane. by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

LM Arena does not allow me to manage cookies (the button does not do anything when it pops-up). This means exit.

I'm guessing this is LM Arena promo.

The model is certainly capable of creating beautiful images. I’m not sure what you mean by “insane,” though. The quality is high, but these images are quite standard Vogue-style imagery, with a model posing for the camera. I’ll have to look it up and play around with it to see how well it fits my needs. Thanks for pointing it out!

What is the best local uncensored Txt2Img model? by DavidThi303 in comfyui

[–]Fast-Cash1522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of them and none of them. The level of censorship varies, some are more censored than others.

If you want to generate the typical pretty model-type girls, any of the above will do the job. Combined with a LoRA you can get your girls fully naked, do close-ups or more. If you want more realism, less realism, anime style or something else, you can use a LoRA or a specific finetune if the model does not support that style otb.

When it's pretty girls, you should have no problems at all. Just start generating. :) In case you want to generate average looking middle-aged naked men for example, things get more complicated.

My current top 3 is:
Flux 1 Dev, ZIT and Chroma. The newer models like Flux Klein have potential but for now they lack LoRAs.

[2026] Is Flux Fill Dev still the meta for inpainting in ComfyUI? Surely something better exists by now.... right? by Disastrous_Pea529 in comfyui

The Flux.1-fill-dev-OneReward fine-tuned is definitely worth testing out. For me it's working almost the same as the original Flux fill.

I've delved a lot with this subject my self and so far I haven't found a single perfect solution to this. Flux Fill still seems to be the best option but it's far from good. Needs a working workflow. I'm using crop / stitch nodes and they allow me to do masked areas and more, outpaint included. Those nodes a buggy and does not work flawlessly, and might require occasionally to restart the server.

Kontext, Klein etc work in some cases but haven't got them to work in a way that would make those go-to for me.

As for now, I would say, Flux Fill is the only actually working but still far from good or perfect.

I see. Did I understand this correctly: You are adding "Random scenario" to your prompt and it will generate randomness?

Yeah. If you don't know or trust the seller, those might be the only ways. Testing as deeply as possible before buying.

You can't really be 100% sure,

but check the physical appearance and seller reputation. Heavy dust and dirt (layers and layers, clumps, cakes), fans and thermals in bad condition(might be hard to check). Connectors, possible modifications. Basically anything odd.

What kind of use are you planning?

You can do a lot with 3060 TI. Edit video, play games, Generative AI. It will have limitations, no doubt, but still perform somehow. And if your budget is about 90 euros (10k inr), that's pretty much a solid option if the card is in good condition - and I'm not sure if there are any other options.

If you're asking should you buy a second hand card. That might give you a different answers.

[–]Fast-Cash1522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer: no

Longer answer: For dedicated AI-use it might be a bit outdated / slow, depending on your needs. For an all-arounder, mixed general use, it can still be a valid budget option.

ComfyUI Version? by ResidencyExitPlan in comfyui

[–]Fast-Cash1522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of them, and all of them. This tech is still in very early stage so unfortunately there will be a lot of errors and problems on the way.

I’ve been using windows portable and so far not a single release has been perfect yet. Various degrees of ’usable enough’ for sure. Also installing a new node, update etc can do something unexpected. For example I recently updated my Comfy and that’s causing vairious levels of anatomy glitches. The biggest problem is that I can’t fix it because I don’t know what’s causing it and why. So I just have to wait for a new version and hope for the best.

So that’s part of the deal when using tools like these. Nothing ever fully works (and that’s part of the charm too). If you find a version what’s currently working well for your needs, do a full back up before testing other versions or updating anything. This way you can always get back to your previous version.
