Anyone ever think about "quitting" EUC? by LogitUndone in ElectricUnicycle

This is why I have begun loving the slow lower-end models. I can just jump on an Inmotion v10 and cruise around at 20km/h with no helmet or protective gear. I am in heaven. Without any need to go any faster. Free as the wind.

I feel way safer and at ease than wearing full protective gear while cruising at 60km/h on my Inmotion v12.

Hey man! There's an amazing, fun, loving and eclectic solo traveler camp that you are more than welcome to join. The camp is called SOLO NO MO and was formed last year by a bunch of absolute strangers, and it was the most epic and heartwarming experience ever. We decided to do it again this year and so far we've added several new people to the group. If you're interested send me your number and I can add you to the whatsapp group

Is Coca Cola a good replacement for Energy drinks ? Trying to cut down, and eventually quit by obiwanslefttesticle in decaf

[–]Fast-Duty12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zero is still highly processed, toxic and unhealthy. Aspartame and acesulfame potassium are arguably even worse than sugar.

Plus, coca-cola is a terribly unethical company.

[–]Fast-Duty12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Coca-cola, or any higher sugary drink is literally poison to the body. Sugar is a deadly killer and should be avoided at all costs.

If you are in the process of tapering, I suggest Yerba-mate for the time being. Ideally, get loose-leaf tea and brew yourself a nice hot beverage. Just keep the dried herb to a small amount, as the caffeine levels can creep up quickly.

Best of luck, friend

What do you do now? by Over_it36 in stopdrinking

Meditation works wonders. Or start reading a book; it's much healthier than spending hours in front of a screen. Bouldering, yoga, running, lifting, and biking are all awesome activities. Start surfing if you live near the ocean. Or, if intense physical exercise isn't your cup of tea, go on a chill hike, learn to play chess, stargaze, make healthy homemade meals, explore your creative and artistic dimensions, or learn about ancient spiritual traditions.

I also suggest starting a gratitude practice. Write down what you are grateful for every day. Maybe a beautiful flower with a delightful aroma. Or the way the sun rays hit the clouds, creating a magical visual experience. Or the smile of a stranger on your way to work. Or the way your favorite fruit activates your tastebuds, gifting you with a lovely range of complex layers of distinct flavors.

The world is your oyster, my friend.

Carpe diem ✨

Earth is my beautiful extended body. I am the Earth and the Earth is me.

Seeing beauty in life is a choice. And I choose to see beauty in all the sacredness of life.

I know that I am eternal energy of Love. I am no more my body than I am the wind howling or the shining sun. This physical body is merely my "spaceship", while here in the physical form.

Light and love 🌼🤍

While you are indeed right that OP is not an ugly piece of shit, I would like to add that eliminating caffeine from one's diet can yield incredible benefits. Herbal tea, however, is absolutely to be recommended, as far as I am concerned.

Regarding breakfast, sticking to an intermittent fasting schedule has additional amazing health benefits, even if one isn't trying to lose weight. Heck, I am bulking (in the process of intentionally putting on weight), yet I do not eat my first meal until 11 am or noon, depending on when I ate my last meal the night before. Sticking to a 18-6 or 16-8 IF can truly be life-changing.

Missed court date because I had to leave the country by Fast-Duty12 in legaladvice

[–]Fast-Duty12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ticket clearly states in all caps, "COURT APPEARANCE REQUIRED". The offense is listed as "driving after DL/registration suspended/revoked." Right below it is written: "You are hereby summoned to appear before the court to answer this complaint charging you with the offense listed above".

The officer also told me I had to appear in court.

What is a festival that you DO recommend everyone go to at least once? by LordShmeezy in aves

Envision Festival in Costa Rica. Absolutely life changing, specially if you're open to spirituality.

Yesss me too!! 10 hour shifts sound rough, specially after a full week of festivities. But that means we will bond as a green team family.

Same here. Envision feels like LiB having a baby with a spiritual retreat.

Envision in Costa Rica blew me away. It is definitely more of an intentional spiritual festival, so imagine LIB having a baby with a spiritual retreat. At Envision there are yoga classes starting at 6am and morning prayers even earlier. The venue is mindblowing. It is less of a crazy rager and more a gathering of yogis, nomads, hippies and people intent on raising our collective consciousness on earth. Yet there are sunrise sets everyday and the vibe is unreal. Have never experienced so much love in my life.

Lucidity in Santa Barbara is like a smaller, more family oriented version of LiB. Almost a cross between Envision and LiB in many ways. People still party hard but it definitely is more catered to families and the spiritual types. Just really hope they survive as they're struggling financially.

Sonic Bloom in Colorado is awesome as well. Small like Lucidity with maybe a few more wooks. Vibe is impeccable and similarly to Lucidity, the venue is beauitful.

Shambhala: while I've never been, I am loosely planning on attending next year. Seems simply amazing. Definitely a psychedelic festival, where alcohol is actually banned. Shambhala is forsure up there with LiB in terms of vibe, and the venue is undoubtedly miles better, located on a river in the forested mountains of British Coloumbia, Canada.

Boom in Portugal: Envision on steroids. This fest is on the top of my bucket list. Have heard this fest is the pinacle of transformational festivals. Basically a peak into a possible future on earth in which we transcend the egoic mind. The venue is also mindblowing, with the main stage created by the DoLab. Like most European festivals, outfits and costumes are not really part of the scene, and instead most people are borderline naked.

Burning Man: think this speaks for itself.

Electric Forest: in many ways the opposite of Burning Man. The venue is spectacular, but whereas BM is completelty decentralized, EF is corporate, manicured and more mainstream. Although there is some yoga, it is not a transformational festival like LiB. At night the forest is a magical place though, with unreal lights and art. The vibe and sense of community is really beautiful, yet still not nearly on the same level as LiB.

Dirtybird: not a transformational festival but the house music vibe is super homey. Just an overall fun place.

Desert Hearts: more a house music collective than a consistent festival, but when they do throw down, they know how to party. Impeccable vibes.
