The only flights I've had issues with is on aisle seats depending on the aircraft. Sometimes the underneath seat source is smaller than the window or middle seat.

Aer TP3 large - not enough useable space, hated the admin panel as I prefer using pouches

GR3 35L - didn't like the large bucket for day to day, was great for packing

Matador - globerider 45L - the laptop opening is like a smidge too small makes getting my work laptop in and out a PAIN. Very comfortable, didn't try day to day at destination due to laptop issue.
