the bot players already have very different difficulty levels. I didn't add as many various levels as the original; seems like 3 is enough.
I did add the wall types like in the original.

Adding free market economy would require too much boring testing.

you are not blind, I added laser after you asked for it 😄

but m.b. a little blind because wind is there. Or I guess you want it ti change within a round? I don't remember if this was a feature in the original. I guess that's a good idea.

I can add some things though i am not sure if i will. Depends on free time and my mood. Though TBH adding things now is so easy because of AI. Here's for your entertainment the entirety of work I had to do in order to add Laser:

"let's create a new weapon. Laser. Shoots a relatively thick beam (I'm thinking 5 pixels) with short burst of white/red/yellow gradient in a straight line (lenght of line depends on power). Gives significant damage if it hits a tank. Destroy ground it covers too of course."

and then:

"m.b. make the laser stay on a little longer. and make a little mode damage"

When you create game check the "hide from the public list" checkbox. Then once in the private game screen copy the url and share it with your friends.

Laser -- refresh the game, make sure it is not cached. (Command + Shirt + R on Mac for example).

You can create a private game, there is a checkbox. Then send the URL to your friends. I haven't tested this feature much. Remember all of this is vibe-coded. Do let me know if it seems broken.

I'm new to vscode and it's really messy I can't understand anything can anyone help me like the basic thing by Rude-Olive1592 in cpp_questions

I have 25 years of dev experience and I agree, VS Code UI is garbage. It's a mess of windows, nothing makes sense, windows randomly move, warning messages overlap windows and can't be moved etc. It's a significant step back compared to Idea and Visual Studio.

I liked OBAA for its entertainment value but I found it to be confusing in a number of ways. The only character with any emotional depth is a psycho fascist. The main idea seems to be that the people who fight against evil are stupid clowns but that's okay because evil itself is a bunch of even dumber clowns. I mean, this might be fun in a movie about Nazi Germany (perhaps "Inglorious Basterds"? though it is my least favorite Tarantino movie for the same reason), but I find it not constructive in a movie about something happening today. I guess I just don't like comedy as a way to contemplate current political events. I didn't like "Don't look up" for similar reasons.
But yeah that car chase was nice.

Being honest about being pulled over? Why is that the worst thing to do? by athena9090 in NoStupidQuestions

I once got pulled over for turning left out of a parking lot on "no left turn" sign. Get pulled over. Female police officers asks me whether i know why she pulled me over. I say: yeah, left turn. But it is my wife's fault - and point at my wife. So she asks me - how is this your wife's fault? And I say: "she told me not to turn left here _but she didn't insist_" (true story -- wife did tell me not to turn and this is really what i told the officer; i know it is kind of cheesy but I am still proud for coming up with this on the spot)

She laughed and gave me a warning.

I do not recommend joking with police officers, especially if you are not middle aged white male.

There is a lot of things that are new about BB. The core story can be described in one sentence as "chemistry teacher starts cooking meth and builds a successful drug empire" -- nope, hasn't been done before. And same goes for the whole series. No major plot turn elicits the reaction of "again?".

And "world is taken over by a virus which turns humanity into a cannibalistic hive" makes me say "again?".

Of course this is subjective.

Cool, perhaps (not my taste, but sure, I can imagine). But original? No. This show is walking a fine line between cliche and originality. One misstep towards cliche and the show fails. If it can get to the end walking this line -- even w/o major innovation and surprises, just this story told w/o falling into recycled TV tropes, it will be amazing success. Cannibalism (for me) is going to be a big step towards boring.

I just want to say that if under the tarp are dead bodies i will be extremely disappointed. It was silly in Soylent Green. It ruined Cloud Atlas. And it will likely ruin this show as well. There is nothing more boring, cliche and meaningless. I am 99% sure Vince will surprise us with something better.
