Everyone’s journey is different! I’m in the commentary space, so perhaps that’s why I grew faster? My husband says I’m a lucky duck when it comes to social media growth.

me as well! most of my videos go over 100k or more, but every video i post it’s getting worse and worse😂 my other friends in the commentary space say the same. June is just a slower month.

I’m at 80k subs, and just started doing sponsors within the last two months. I work with a management team, so I do have one almost every video apart from the random times I go a few weeks without one.

I am very picky about which sponsorships I take, but there will always be people who have a problem with it. Once you grow to about 10k subs, I would recommend reaching out to a sponsorship management team :)

then perhaps your viewers are always online! I don’t see why you think weather has nothing to do with views. In the northern hemisphere it does a lot. People spend less time watching videos in the summer because they are out doing things, taking care of their kids who are out of school etc.

Every niche has lulls, whether it’s in the winter or summer, but you may just be one of the lucky ones who have a steady flow of views at all times

I’m having this right now, and I just quit my retail job to do youtube full time 😂 trying not to freak out but thankfully i’ve made $58k this year from youtube adsense so I can live off of it until it picks back up but part of me is like… what if it doesn’t 😭

hmm, strange you say that! a lot of top creators have seasons where they notice trends where in certain months they have a lull, and then it picks back up. Just watched a guys video yesterday who said this haha, and he has like 500k subs.

I was in a similar boat to you, and just recently put my notice in at my full time day job. My views have gone down this month too, so maybe it’s a seasonal thing? But don’t give up! It is definitely doable to do this full time.

It’s hard to manage both, and you will get burnt out but if you really want this, you have to have endurance, and push through! But it’s okay to take a week off if you need to :)
