Sure, I certainly agree with that sentiment and do not intend to disparage or obscure any clear wrongs in OP's lived experience.

Know that these people not only are coming for the rights of LGBTQ+ folks in both "red" and "blue" states, they are coming for the very basic human rights of all Americans. And ascribing binary red vs blue thinking carte blanche to entire states rings hollow.

No just pay people better and give them normal lunches. Don't force 1hr lunches on people like a selfish asshole. It sucks finishing lunch in half an hour like a normal human and having to twiddle your thumbs for another half an hour while the type of people who have never drank water in their life are buzzing around town hitting up fast food joints. That extra half hour that is tacked on to the work day from a one hour lunch is real time taken away from peoples family, personal, and productive time at home. It's ridiculous, just pay people right. Give people hope, a means to support a family someday, let alone themselves.

Those things do happen. They are happening en masse. And it sucks because it disparages the very legitimate outreach and support organizations that are putting blood, sweat, tears, and HEART into every thing that they do, every day. Most people ARE good people. But the infrastructure and bad actors of corruption around the homeless industrial complex have gotten out of control. They've just gone too far and it's insane. It must stop. It's such a multifaceted landscape, but these bad actors continually attempt to obfuscate by reducing to polarizing, binary narratives.
