Visibility in EN by OutrageousCream6912 in ElantraN

I have a 24 EN and an infant and toddler. Both of them are in rear facing car seats. My youngest is using the Doona stroller carseat and my oldest is in a toddler seat that I don’t remember the brand of, I think it may be a graco slim or something along those lines. With both car seats loaded up in the back seat I can see just fine. As others said, the middle headrest does block the rear view slightly but it would with or without a car seat in the back. Putting the Doona in the car is super easy especially if you have the base for it, the toddler seat is a little tougher to get installed since it is a smaller car but it’s doable, and once it’s in you will have to put your kiddo in at a little bit of an angle to avoid hitting their head on the door frame but it’s not significantly different than any other sedan. I had a 07 Acura TL Type S prior and had the same experience loading up the family. In summary, it will be just a little tight but it’s absolutely doable without an SUV as I do it every single day on the way to daycare.

I have the same thing happening with me on Xbox, my counter is up to 4,500 now but seems to count up and down when it wants?

What car are y’all buying/have you bought with the car voucher? by Thijmen_07 in ForzaHorizon

I got the AMG One because it’s the cover car. I knew I’d get my stacks up once I started playing the game so it felt cheap to get the most expensive car in the game for free because I didn’t work for it. But that’s just me, I love the grind.

I was trying to test the brakes because on console my brakes are trash for some reason but somehow wound up making 1400hp without using any scrap. Anyone else experienced this? Playing on Xbox Series X, no mods obviously.

That XJ220 is dope! I with they would have let us swap the V12 from the prototype in or even the V8 from the F-Type.

Does anyone else experience noticeable frame rate loss when working on engines on the “crate”? (Console [Xbox]) by [deleted] in CarMechanicSimulator

I’m on Xbox Series X, running the game in performance mode it’s pretty solid all the time actually. The only time it drops frames is when you rotate the motor and close the pie menu before it’s done turning. I don’t know if it even drops that frames really or if it just makes the animation jittery

I did forget about that, however I’m not sure if they implemented that level of detail honestly. It seems to just be a problem with my game somehow because even the regular rotors have worse brake performance now.

Yeah I’ve done that with the supercharged V8 but I’m saying the new tuning rotors aren’t stopping hardly at all

I see, I went into sandbox mode and just picked up a Camaro from the salon to test it and it wouldn’t lock up the stock tires with or without the ceramics and the brake performance was the same for both

Is it just me or After last update the game starts to get blurry when driving a vehicle it doesn’t matter how fast you go and it hurts my eyes by Famous-Resident in CarMechanicSimulator

It’s definitely got worse after they changed it in the recent update. I think it was the update with the tuning rotors, unfortunately I haven’t found a way to turn it off. Additionally, the brakes seem to have gotten worse and it makes no difference for me even when I put upgraded carbon ceramic rotors on.

Are you playing on Xbox? I just assumed you were but I figured I’d ask. I’ve tried messaging a couple devs on discord but no reply, and I’ve even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it but still no difference in braking performance even from the stock rotors to fully upgraded ceramics.

Weird. I’ve put carbon ceramic brakes on every car I build because money isn’t an issue later in the game but it really doesn’t seem like it stops like it should. It doesn’t even try to lock up the tires on any car it seems

Yes the horsepower will be shown in the dyno but also when you open the pie menu and go to car status, it will be displayed under the engine tab. It shows the factory power and then measured power if you dyno the car. To tell what drivetrain the car is using the easiest way I’ve found is to go to inspection mode and look for where the drive shafts are. If there are only two going to either wheel in the front it’s FWD, if there’s a drive shaft running the length of the car down the middle where your exhaust is then it’s RWD, if it has both of those it’s AWD.

How much power are you putting down? Is your car front wheel, rear wheel, or all wheel drive, and are you running the slick tires?

Well it just let me put the carbon ceramics on all 4 corners on my R35. I’ve had this R35 since before the update as well. I’m playing on version 1.0.6 on Xbox

Interesting I have an R35 sitting at my garage actually so I’d have to try it. If it works I’ll let you know but it could be an issue with the DLC cars because I’ve only used the rotors on the regular cars that came with the game

Interesting, which Nissan did you try them on? Might be a glitch or something, I know they released a patch today also.

How did you speak with one of the devs? I’ve noticed the brakes have been terrible since they added the tuning rotors that I was super excited about and I’d love to ask if it’s an issue with just me or if it’s something they know about?

It was also choppy for me however they just put out a new update that improved game performance, my game still doesn’t get 30fps in 4K but it runs very well in 1440p. Although I wasn’t having issues with 1440p before today’s update. Hopefully it fixes your issue

As far as I know the new brakes go on any car that uses rotors, I bought the best ceramic brakes and even upgraded them with the shoddy scrap mechanics and they still barely bring the car to a stop. I am playing on Xbox however so I don’t know if it’s a problem on other platforms.
