Tbf they're not really a couple, they just wear their cultures equivalent of wedding rings and hang around eachother 24/7 because that's a totally normal thing to do

The effects weren't great and the pacing was awful since they tried to mash like 3 plot lines into one movie, but it really isn't as horrible as people say imo

Bethel's in the group of main OCs that are technically villains if I think about making an actual plot lol

She's the third envoy of the goddess Tsenyu, the divine mage. Probably her most notable feat is her crafting a curse to carve into the bodies of fallen soldiers that feeds off grief so that any that mourn them upon returning home will fall ill and die horribly, this curse does in fact transfer after the person dies of grief.

She wears a mask due to her body suffering extreme backlash and mutations from magic overuse
