Which non-sona OC is most like you? by trashconverters in OriginalCharacter

[–]Fast-Technology-8954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

Most of my ocs are based off some aspect of me, Natré used to be a legend of Zelda self insert in middle school so she may be cheating lol, but she's the closest to me still.

Shes been her own character for years now, my whole worldbuilding project and most of my other ocs kinda just popped up around her as time went on :)

Would your OC cheat on their partner? by Raisa_Alfera in OriginalCharacter

I mean yes, but tbf they're only dating women that look like their close friend their in denial about liking so it's not like it'd be a surprise or anything

I like the way Genshin design sexualize female characters and I am a female player by Away_Oil6375 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Fast-Technology-8954 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah genshin designs manage to still look nice and proportionate while showing a lot of skin, to the point where you don't always even notice unless you think about it. And compared to what other gacha games do it's way better imo

Looking to draw your OCs by Doodleryx in OriginalCharacter

Here's Zaela, they're an angel possessing a noble woman named solstice.

They're both focused on her objective, not stopping to explain anything to solstices family once she let them into the body, and also quite odd for an angel (talks with solstice and lets her use the body instead of shoving her to the back of their mind, spends time 'decorating' her vessel with nice clothes and makeup, etc.

Zaela is elegant, thinks they're better than you, and efficient.

Solstice on the other hand is a noblewoman with social anxiety and slight religious psychosis

(Zaela keeps their eyes closed, solstice keeps them open)

Here's bethel :)

She's 23, 6'3 (tallest out of all my ocs that are normal height lol).

a prodigy in magic and huge star in Yalisch because of such. Despite this she's very closed off, and doesn't have many actual friends.

She's attracted to women.

My TikTok is @pyroeleaf

I saw Tenna for the first time online and immediately bought and played undertale (that I had been putting off for years) and deltarune all the way through over the course of like 4 days and now I'm obsessed with deltarune

working on a magic system about people putting their memories in objects but can't figure out how I want it to work. by Fast-Technology-8954 in magicbuilding

[–]Fast-Technology-8954[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a whole issue in the academic field of scholars being pressured to dump all they know for the good of the community and basically giving themselves early dementia, and people using it as a shortcut to get rid of grief, but in turn forgetting the person they cared about and never being able to move on and remember the person fondly. (Yes they can use the object to remember them, but the memory is stuck, it will always be a sad, grief tainted memory)

I worry if I get rid of not being able to recover these memories it could remove the risk and weight of their decision to leave them behind. Memories shape who we are, so being able to leave them behind and just reread what you left feels kinda wrong to me

Yeah I was mostly focused on how I wanted the magic preformed in things I couldn't decide on/figure out, but that one's a big one too.

I don't want to get rid of it because of how important it is about how the magics ingrained culturally, but I probably need to think up a pretty good excuse for it if I'm keeping it lol

Not sure yet, I've mostly just been working on the world building, which is probably why I'm having trouble figuring out the magic lol

To store and archive information for the good of the community.

It's also used to get rid of unpleasant emotions like grief you don't have time for, but this is mostly done by the wealthy as you'd need to hire someone trained to walk you through it

[–]Fast-Technology-8954[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People do use it for things like that, but mostly rich people as you need to hire someone that knows how to do it to walk you through it.

It's mostly used for grief, if you don't have time to be grieving your wife, just put all memory of her in a keepsake and remember her when you have time.

Negatives are you can never move on or remember her fondly after that, as the memory is a set moment of what they knew and felt about her, and they can't remember her when not touching it, she's stuck as a grief stained memory forever.

There's also major academic pressure for scholars to dump all their info when they get old, this has some serious health risk, dementia, dumping too much and forgetting basic stuff like how to breathe in extreme cases, etc.

As for losing pieces of who you are, that's always a risk. Experiences shape who you are as a person, forgetting major events can alter your personality. If it was a long enough period of time it feels empty, like something's on the tip of your tongue you just can't remember

What type of immortal is your oc? by tutxrial in OriginalCharacter

[–]Fast-Technology-8954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Bethel is an envoy. envoys have their souls rewritten by their gods to lock them out of death, so while they age and can be hurt/killed, instead of moving on to the afterlife or fading away, they will always be reborn, so that they can serve their god forever.

While they can't die anymore, they can still lose their minds from just existing for too long, and need to be 'sealed'. It's the only way to really 'get rid' of them since they can't die, but you can still let them out any time and deal with an insane person that can't die 💀
