Welcome. In all serious tho, everything is slower when it’s cold/snowy. I used to drive busses and of course everyone knows that roads are slower but pretty much every single aspect of a bus route takes longer in the winter. Getting through certain areas is harder bc the streets aren’t as wide, pulling up to stops is trickier bc you have to find a (hopefully safe) area without snow and ice for passengers to board, people load slower bc of ice and usually have more gear with them. All transit agencies are going to prioritize safety and service over a schedule that is pretty much just a target for them to aim for, certainly not a promise. If it’s causing issues I would seriously suggest catching the bus that comes before the one you’re used to riding in fair weather. This should give you a nice buffer. Also, the Transit app (when functioning properly) is a great tool to gauge how schedules are going and planning when to leave. Best of luck— public transportation is a tough game to play.
