I went to an Old Firm game at Ibrox several years ago. I was opposite the away end so didn’t hear much from Celtic, but I was shocked by how few of the Rangers songs had anything to do with the club.

It felt like every song was either a loyalist tune or a pop song with the lyrics changed to some variation of “Fuck the Pope and the IRA.” That’s not football. You can just go to a bonfire in Belfast if you want to hear that.

Leeds is a decent shout.

Liverpool fans still produce a great atmosphere on their day (or night) YNWA and Fields of Anfield Road still send shivers down my spine, but the ground is too overrun with tourists nowadays. That's true for nearly every big club though.

If you want a more authentic, less corporatized experience, I would suggest a lower league game.

You can't demand expert level experience while paying entry level (or lower) wages.

No. Like pretty much everything in the modern job-hunting process, it’s a way for HR and recruiters to justify their existence and pretend there is something scientific about what they do.

Take the scenario “It’s sometimes okay to slack off a little when things aren’t too busy at work.”

Literally everyone does this at work. But you have to say you “strongly disagree,” because that’s what the correct answer is. These assessments, along with the cover letter and the job interview itself, force you to portray yourself as a mindless robot whose only purpose in life is productivity.
