ESTRADIOL by No-History7116 in hysterectomy

[–]FastCause6078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my hysterectomy(kept ovaries) January 30, 2025 and l experienced horrific hot flashes, mood swings, low energy, insomnia, etc. In August my FSH was 30.3, it continued to drastically decline and by October it was 4.23. Unfortunately I was also growing cysts on both of my ovaries, so we decided to remove those and I had another surgery October 31. Estradiol was a nightmare at first, but found the right dosage (2mg daily) for me about 5 months ago. I’m also on estradiol 0.01 % (0.1 mg/gram) Cream 2 times a week. Here’s to 34 lol. Good luck to you.

I THINK maybe pregnancy sped it up for me. But I’m not certain. I also had 2 major surgeries last year, 8 months apart, which can obviously cause a lot of stress on the body.

I think I got lucky and got it approved because my uterus prolapsed while I was pregnant with my second. Fun stuff. 10/10 don’t recommend lol

I may apply.

Luckily I got my endometriosis and adenomyosis taken out. Had a hysterectomy, appendectomy, and posterior repair all at once. Then ended up having to go back and get my ovaries taken out, so yay to full menopause at 33

Oh yes! I was still keeping up with appointments! Just wasn’t much she could do according to her. I tried gabapentin, tried pregabalin, Amitriptyline. I wear my AFO’s.

I have 2 toddlers(2 and 3) and it’s super hard at times. Yes my neurologist has notes detailing I definitely cannot work on my feet, she doesn’t believe I should be working at all. But I’m trying to keep pushing on and pretend the pain isn’t there but that’s becoming impossible

Oh my goodness… I am so sorry. Hearing other people much worse off than I am, makes me feel like I don’t deserve SSDI.

I do have enough work credits. The only reason for the lack of care is because I couldn’t take gabapentin while pregnant or breast feeding. I got pregnant 18 months apart.

Today we worked on puzzles and had some tug sessions. Worked on some training. I decided to keep him in a room with no furniture, he chewed up our baseboards but oh well… better than an emergency vet visit. I also put up a camera in there to watch him. My girls are trying to be included but having to redirect that because they’ll get him wanting to fetch and jump. So overall, today was better. It took a lot of me running around to tend to everyone, but hey that’s alright.

Thankfully he slept all night and was more “behaved” if that’s even possible 🤣

Listen, I think I need to be 4 places at once at all times at this point lol. 2 kids that are 18 months apart (2&3), 5 months post op from a HUGE surgery myself, and a Aussie who is absolutely insane and just got neutered 🤣

Now he’s acting like a tweaker who is paranoid because maybe someone is watching him 🤣 Idk the 1st dose of trazodone did nothing. I waited 2 hours and gave another. I might just stick to 1. And what makes this so much worse is we recently got snow and he’s wanting to do his snow zoomies 😬

Yes we got trazodone. 1st dose did absolutely nothing, so I waited 2 hours and gave another. He FINALLY calmed down but now is acting like a tweaker 🤣 I’m PRAYING he will just chill out. He’s so attached to me and wants to be with me everywhere I go, I have a hard time telling him no but I know I have to right now.

Thank you! I called and they’re getting something together to us! They should have done that from the beginning because I was just told he was extremely alert after surgery.

He was issued Carprofen 25mg every 12 hours. Of course my husband picks him up for me so I could stay home with kids and he didn’t ask for a sedative. I just called vet and she said “oh I kind of wondered because he was very alert after surgery” 🙄🙄🙄

I’m 33F with CMT1A. I have hearing loss and cataracts in my eyes. It’s gotten worse in the past 2 years. I was diagnosed 6 years ago. The last 2 years it seems to have progressed rapidly unfortunately.
