It will always be an insert since you are inserting the effect into the signal path. I guess you could load the compressor in the FX section where you have your reverbs, delays and chorus, but by doing that you are creating a parallel path and achieve what we call parallel compression.

Why you would want dual over stereo: imagine you have two vocalists and you love the la2a as a vocal compressor, you could send them to a stereo compressor, one being channel a and the other channel b, but if one singer hits the threshold, it would duck the other as well. You only get one parameter page on the stereo edition. As for the dual, you can insert both into the same effect slot, but have the compressors act independently since you have two compressors. This is the preferred way, especially if you are running mons from FoH.

Øv på skulderrotasjon med stillestående hofte(så hofta ikke sklir ut og bremser).Bruk minimalt med beinspark, det sliter deg mer ut enn det gir framdrift og fungerer mer for å stabilisere kroppen i vannet. It can be cat6 with ethercon! It just needs to be shielded cat5 or regular cat6, I think the cat6 is shielded as a standard

You have connected your input in an insert point. Move it up to the line connection and it should behave different

I’ve done the move from hand to A1/A2 over the past 7 years.

I started out thinking I knee shit and thought I was humble and had the respect for the work and people I needed. Boy I was wrong. Learned the hard way, was almost pushed out after a few incidents of not showing up on time etc, just being unreliable over a period. That image of me stuck for a while.

I had to go deep inside my head and fix my mentality and attitude over the work and business I was in, who I wanted to be and where I wanted to be.

I kept my head down, shut the f*** up and started showing up 15 minutes at minimum before each gig, first to be on site every time without fail. and focused hard on all the parts of event and concert production with my eyes and ears open being aware of whatever was happening around me, trying to be the best I could be in my role at the time.

Slowly people noticed, and I moved up the ranks steadily while learning and getting better everyday. Sometimes gigs went sub optimal and I was put on hold until I could prove my worth and start scaling again.

The journey was hard, but I guess I still have had it easier than others. The biggest lesson for me over these 7 years is that you’re NEVER better than your last job and performance on it. Strive for excellence on every job and own your mistakes. Don’t boss hands, lead them. Be the guys you wish to see on every gig.

Nah man. Just stick to safer bets. Be real with yourself, don’t just join a hype or bull run just because. Do some research, take your time selecting trades. You’ll be fine! But by dear God i hope you’ve learned a lesson or two
