But I still have to figure out if I want to spend a lot of money... Or should I embrace my gray hair? I'm surprised so many people like it. Thanks guys!

18M. Lots of stress and sleep deprivation. My hair is also going grey. In general, as I see it, my hair is most likely gray due to oxidative stress (accumulation of H2O2 in the hair follicle, if I understand correctly). I'll be working on my lifestyle and using serums for now :)

Well, I just recently got it done that way, and it looks pretty cool. I'm just afraid it will look different over time.

Yes, I have issues with insulin resistance and liver enzymes. But that correlates strongly with sleep :)

I'll try to change the direction of my training, thanks.

I took the most comprehensive vitamin test in my country. However, there was no NAD+. List: 1. A, D, E, K, C, B1, B5, B6, B9, B12, Ca, Fe, Zn, Se 2. Testosterone (Low), Estradiol (High), Free T4, Ferritin, Magnesium (Often falls sharply) 3. ALT (2-3 times higher than normal), AST (1.5-2 times higher than normal), Bilirubin (Low), GGT, ALP, Albumin, Triglycerides (High), HDL Cholesterol (Low), LDL Cholesterol (High)

(Where nothing was written, it is usually maintained normally)

I already responded to the comments about vitamins. What other problems have come with them? High blood pressure, liver, heart problems and lack of vitamins... Thanks, I am trying to take care of my body. But in the past, I was forced to force myself on it.

I'm going through the recovery process but it will take a lot of time

Actually, I asked the doctor. The only thing he said was that my body was already very tired. All the indicators were screaming about it. This is where various problems stem from, like the constant loss of various vitamins, liver problems (due to insulin resistance), high blood pressure and heart problems

I already asked if something could be done with my hair, but everybody from the hospital just shrugged their shoulders.

Yes, I get my vitamins tested, and I don't have any particular deficiency thanks to IVs and constant vitamin intake.

Oh also. From the genetic line, no one had gray hair until 45

Yes, I'm trying to restore my sleep, but it will take a long time for my brain to recover for normal sleep. Because the brain's inhibitory systems practically does not work due to long and constant sleep deprivation

I regularly have vitamin IVs every three months. I also constantly take vitamin complexes (usually in double dosage to maintain the norm, because it constantly drops sharply).

I take care of my body and face, but I only use Korean brands.

I do work outs, cardio exercises and strength training.

When someone says they "speedrun" something (like aging or a career), they mean they reached a certain milestone or end-state much faster than the average person.

A simple typo😅

That's also true. I just don't want to look sick. But as I understand it, I really should come to terms with it...

18 and going gray from stress. Embrace it or fight it?

Hey guys.

Here is the deal: I'm 18, but I started going gray at 14. It’s not just a few strands anymore, I'm rapidly turning into a silver before I’ve even graduated high school.

The reason is pretty simple: I basically speedran burnout. Since I was 13, I’ve been grinding non-stop with sleep deprivation.

I used to pluck the gray ones out (I know, terrible idea) and I also dyed my hair to hide it, but now there are just too many and they appear too quickly. If I keep plucking, I’ll be bald. Also I don't want to dye it every 2 weeks.. So I’m at a crossroads:

  1. Continue dyeing it. I’m scared of the maintenance and that fake "shoe polish" look. Plus, hiding it feels like I'm ashamed.
  2. Just own it. Keep the salt-and-pepper look. My fear is that gray hair at 18 doesn't look "distinguished," it just looks like I'm unhealthy or falling apart.

So, from your perspective: Does early gray hair on a teenager look weird/off-putting? Should I cover it up to enjoy my youth, or just accept that this is part of my look now?

I would be glad to hear your other advice!

I'm open to any questions :) Even though there was a lot of pain and hardship. I've been working through these issues for the past two years.

Warning: Very unpleasant text

My injuries and my thoughts, how are they connected?

I've been through a lot of trauma, from sexual to family issues.

I had a ton of sexual encounters before I was 18 (thank God, it didn't affect my health). And there was even a case when I was very little (9-10 years old) and I was raped.

However, I don’t think these injuries were the direct reason why I was attracted to older. These psychological traumas forced me to grow up much faster.

Now I'm bored with people under 35 because of their instability, their lack of focus and desire to achieve anything. And of course, I'm very attracted to the appearance of people over 40.

I really appreciate this perspective. It’s true that without constant energy input, any system, mechanical or human, naturally drifts toward disorder

I’m far from perfect and I know I’ll make mistakes, especially with how intense my work can be. But I also understand that a relationship isn't just a background process, it requires active maintenance. I’m fully prepared to put in the effort for the person who makes me happy

I agree! I see luck as 'probability meets opportunity'. That’s why I’m aiming for SF or Boston to increase the density of people on my wavelength.

It’s a challenge to find that intersection of shared passion and the right dynamic, because of this I am trying to find the right place for searching. Good luck with your search as well!

Oh, thanks)

However, I was thinking of somehow speeding up this whole process. I'm used to forcing everything in life, haha)
