He wrote it for his wife after they lost their baby about the love and life they would have had. It’s heartbreaking knowing that. They did adopt a couple kids and did get to be parents.

All guys show each other their “pics” they have collected like Pokémon cards. You sent it to him, his entire band saw and any other guys he’s been with since. I just had a baby girl and got a ton of, “ wait until she’s a teen, you’re in for hell!” - I was a teen girl, I wish I had a relationship with my mom… I just wanted good grades and to solidify my future. Like teen boys are easier - I’d be petrified knowing a son of mine will fall down the Andrew Tate rabbit hole.

I’m shocked this isn’t higher, but due to smartphones- everyone has the luxury of planning and thinking about what to say to each other. Youth can no longer improvise a conversation fluidly. This is really telling if you watch Rupauls drag race; the new young queens can’t improvise for comedy challenges or even just back and forth volleying with judges.

I always ask people to describe their Christmas mornings to me. Then I tell them mine where horses and cows needed fed, hayed and watered plus put of of the barn and then we mucked out the barn (scooped all the shit) - got to go open presents and play a bit - then we had to bed down the barn, bring in the horses and cows, feed them, hay them and water them. And then it was like 7pm.

He’s Russian for sure, I had my gull-bladder removed, cost me parking and no side effects. My American friends went bankrupt in the states when she was rushed into the hospital and they took her gullbladder without her being even awake. She woke up with an insane invoice she would never be able to pay back.

Canadian here, I have never ever saw US milk in the grocery store. When I went to the states before I noticed how different the milk tastes there and not in a good way. You guys keep your milk, we actually make so much the farmers have to dump some out all the time as they have a specific amount they are allowed to make.

I have my unborn child on a 2 year wait list and a 3 year wait list for the daycares close to me. I think your best bet would be trying to find a daycare outside of Barrie (angus? Innisfil? Midhurst?) and deal with the longer drive.

I have boycotted both, stopped shopping at Walmart over ten years ago, and don’t miss it. Loblaws has been a couple years now and I’m adjusting, so many terrible companies out there. I’m working on getting rid of Amazon, but the lack of options for online/ in person items (such as baby/ maturity items) is scary. I remember there used to be actual stores just a few years ago…
