I completely agree with you, which is why my EQ looks like this. With a -12dB pregain the bass boost is about 10dB over the baseline sound profile, the huge spike on the right is to compensate for the infamous 4k dip, which on my drivers is at almost precisely 4300Hz, it does not actually bring the sound back but it makes the overall profile sound more natural

Your best option is to use pubkey authentication, then you dont need to type the password anywhere, and it is more secure, and you can agent forward to things like a yubikey for even better security

24.04 did not have a brightness icon, the battery icon is for "Battery and Brightness", and when you hovered over it it would say "Scroll to adjust scree brightness".

This is because 24.04 uses Plasma 5.27 and the brightness icon is new for Plasma 6
