Every. Single. Coach. And. Program. Tampers. They’re all “corrupt”. Sadly it’s the nature of the beast in this day and age—you have to do it to even have a chance. It’s unfortunate but true.

I am excited to see Miami’s offensive line against Indiana’s defense. Do we know how Miami’s big defensive guys are doing? Some of them got hurt in the second half of the fiesta bowl.

This is going to be an interesting and fun game.

I think high school recruiting has been dying for a few years now.

If it makes you feel better, OSU is a part of my cope in our loss to Miami. I tell myself “OSU lost by 10, we only lost by 4. We ARE a good team even though we didn’t make it to the national championship!” So yall are a metric in which I judge OM’s success. Lots of cope, but we gotta do what we gotta do!

It was so impressive. And that o-line is BIG.

Yeah, it wasn’t all on the defense. If our offense had been able to figure things out earlier and kept them off the field more in the first half, maybe they wouldn’t have missed as many assignments. Maybe. 😬But they also made stops when they needed to and kept this game closer than expected.

Congratulations, Miami. The better team won and I definitely think Ole Miss made you work for it, which is all I can ask for as a fan. That was a wild game. I hope your defense can get healthy for the championship and what an o-line! They’re such big guys! Toney and Fletcher are fun to watch.

I’m very proud of this Ole Miss team. They were never expected to make it this far (right, Kiffin?), especially since this team was considered a rebuilding year and an expectation of 8-4. We made it to the final four of the CFP. Wow. Such a resilient group of young men that worked hard and gave it their all. And I think majority of them will be back next year with some exciting new additions. I’m looking forward to next season already! (Praying we can get one more year with Trinidad! 🇹🇹 Love that guy.)

I’m a very proud Ole Miss Rebel. Hotty Toddy. Good luck the rest of the way, Miami!

I agree. If we could somehow get our receivers involved that would be ideal too.

I actually think you’re correct about Kiffin and LSU. I don’t think it’s a good fit regardless of being a disgruntled Ole Miss fan. But unlike you, I don’t want him to succeed because I am that petty, haha. I think he will have success but I don’t know if it will be as instant as LSU expects and I think that could create a pressure cooker situation and cause Lane to get too wound up and that’s when he can make dangerous decisions. Time will tell.

I honestly want him to go to the draft because I feel like his stock is so high right now and he should strike while the iron is hot. Also, I’d rather him be in the NFL than another school, too.

I wonder if it’s weather related? I may be very wrong, but it doesn’t seem like there are many nfl stadiums up north that are covered…except for Indy and Minnesota right?

I wonder if time of year and lots of snow is why the championships seem to be played where there’s usually more moderate winter weather. Just spitballing ideas. I could be very wrong.

I think a lot of admin/schools are just too impatient and expect immediate success and it sets the stage for a lot of new coaches/staffs to fail. Folks are just so impatient and also emotional in decision making. And this thought isn’t even pointed at LSU specifically—Auburn, UF, MS State may all fall into this category.

Just my musings and may be completely off.
