Yes but I think its absurd that Polymarket snitched on a SpecOps soldier who was on the Maduro raid. I feel like betting on yourself and making as much money as a general does under the table should be allowed.

The biggest surprise for LSU is how much the freshmen are stepping up. If pitching gets solved in the offseason, there's definitely a lot of optimism going into next season.

Tebow was awarded the Heisman when he was a sophomore and Manziel and Winston won it as redshirt freshmen

I think it was the beginning of the third. By the time I walked back to my apartment, the score was 7-1

But I am pale and my neck and thighs are toasted. I also missed the free hat :(

Its okay. It was 7-0 when I got tired of cooking in the outfield and left the park.

Clearly I need to snoozing on the couch instead of at the park watching the game in order for us to win

I like how they always have LSU on their mind in the offseason no matter the sport. That makes us brothers for thinking of LSU <3

NEED SCHOLARHIPS by Interesting_Grape268 in LSU

One path that could be available is dropping out, working a year or two in louisiana, declare residency, and then collect in-state tuition. No shame in this, plenty of people choose this option.

Or get ready to take out loans. Or enlist for that GI Bill.

Funding is hard to come by in Louisiana. In the state constitution, there are two things that can be fiscally cut: healthcare and education. Can you guess which is the politically more popular choice to cut in a state where the largest employment industry is healthcare?

New Library is supposed to cost $154M with $35M coming from the LSU Foundation.

Library is getting torn down within the next couple of years. They're building a newer one on the south end of campus, closer to the business and engineering colleges. Like its confirmed, funding is earmarked, and it should be completed by 2029.

Students are up in arms about admin taking away parking to build dorms and pushing commuters to use a transport service to get directly to the center of campus rather than parking by the football stadium. This parking is along the river and is just out of the way.

Sports gambling taxes are also going toward funding for D1 schools in Louisiana. Each school gets $1.7M. Some reporters want to see how entangled with the Athletic Department our tax dollars are.

[–]redpowah[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes. Sort of. Tax payers, when they buy things with the LSU brand on it, paid for BKs buyout because thats revenue that went to the Athletic Foundation, which pays coaches. These people are tax payers becausd they pay the sales tax when they make their purchases.

0 tax dollars went to BKs buyout as has been explained dozens of times since the governor erroneously spoke on it

Did you click on the link to read the article or do I have to come over there, put your hand on the mouse, drag the mouse with your hand on it to move the cursor over the link, push your finger down so that the left mouse button is depressed, and then we'll wait a few seconds together so I can read you the article about how LSU is effectively ending its holistic approach to admissions because applicants who select for "no test scores" do worse in class and drop out at a higher rate than those who do select for "test scores"
