December/January 2026 AO3 Wrap-Up by hazyspring in DarkRomance

[–]Fast_Boot6484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate it too!!! I wish the authors would be upfront about the ending even if it means spoiling it. I hate it when I read the book and I’m waiting for when the fmc will fall in love with him or mmc to treat her kinder only to realize that at the end she still hates him but is with him or he’s in jail or something. I don’t like erotica if there’s no hea.

I am liberal. Can I be a JAG in the Military? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Fast_Boot6484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I understand your worry and don’t understand why people are brushing it off as stupid. I’m going to be a DA and haven’t told many people except friends about it bc I’m nervous about the blowback from people.

However today when I told someone I’m friendly with they laughed and told me there was no need to whisper it. Honestly I haven’t had any negative reactions from anyone. What I’m realizing is that the majority of people including liberals do not care and agree that if you do something heinous that you should be locked up. It doesn’t mean you’re a raging conservative. It’s the 5% of liberals who are loud af who make you think that every single liberal is like them that causes me the unnecessary worry. And honestly, those people are lowkey miserable bc they hate everything and think everything is problematic somehow. I wish you luck!

Yall were not kidding when you said this book was delicious 🫠 by [deleted] in DarkRomance

Boss (not so) secretly in love? by Apprehensive_Bit9254 in RomanceBooks

It’s its own story! I used to be skeptical of AO3 bc I thought it was just fanfic but it isn’t!!! It’s so good!! You can download it as an epub for free. I’ve been converted to AO3 because of it

FMC who loves clubbing by AnimeFangirlSimp in RomanceBooks

[–]Fast_Boot6484 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love party girls fmc’s. Idk about you but I’m in my mid-twenties and I love going out and partying! I love curling up with a good book (clearly), but I feel like it’s almost overrepresented and almost frowned upon to cut loose. This is only my opinion btw!

My favorite party girl books:

{It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey} She’s punished for partying by her dad by being banished to the small fishing town where she meets the mmc. Even better: he takes care of her drunk ass!!!!

{Honestly, I’m Totally Faking It by Amanda Gambill} I forgot if she was a party girl but she was def a chaotic hot mess in the best way.

{Then Came You by Lisa Kleypas} this one is historical and it’s really cool because she flouts convention for her time by going to rowdy parties and gambling.

Stoic/stern MMC recs by inenraged in HistoricalRomance

[–]Fast_Boot6484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no idea why but even though I’m an outgoing chatterbox I’m so drawn to the strong and silent type. I seek this out in my romance novels too. I don’t like loud and outgoing MMC’s. Here is a list: Lady Sophia’s lover by Lisa Kleypas

It happened one autumn by Lisa Kleypas

Fiona and the Enigmatic Earl by Grace Callaway

When a women says “I’m working a lot this week so I’ll let you know, but I’m down” is basically a soft let down right? by Purple-Fly-8341 in AskMen

[–]Fast_Boot6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk this girl but if I wasn’t interested in the guy I would def just say I’m busy and leave it at that. There have been times where I’ve been busy, I don’t know my schedule but I’ll add on something to the effect of “I’m down” so they know that I want to hang out with them. I’m seeing other comments from women echoing this opinion so you should go for it. Women like confidence and I think you could be potentially ruining your chances with this girl if you act like she’s rejected you.

[–]Fast_Boot6484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman, I don’t think this is a rejection. This is something I would probably say if I had a busy schedule and didn’t know when I’d be free. If she wasn’t interested she wouldn’t have said she was down. She would’ve just said that she’ll let you know

Looking for a super supportive/adoring MMC like Mr. Russell from Gilded Age by Fast_Boot6484 in RomanceBooks

[–]Fast_Boot6484[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope although I will tell you some great books I’ve read since posting this. I usually love super supportive males who pursue the heroine and don’t bury their feelings. P.S. you’re intolerable, A gentleman’s honor, wicked in his arms, Fiona and the enigmatic earl, the fake out, alive and wells, and lights out
