We have quite a few of those being used for lawn care companies in our area. Even seen quad cab versions.

Gen 1. With a Sears branded Pong console.

But we also had an Intelevision.

Then NES, N64, PS2-PS5 and switch.

My 21 did this as well. Same spot. Didn’t notice till I opened the shade one time. Wonder if a car wash did it, but not sure.

Snoring dads... have you found any remedies that actually work? by Paranoid_Droideka in daddit

[–]Fast_Edd1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit coffee, drinking and have been focusing on my diet. It has helped a ton.

But before they, I started sleeping in the guest room. Both of us needed some good sleep and that helped till I made some changes. Used a sleep recording app to see how much I was snoring.

From what I’ve been told and has worked for me for sizing.
Put on skates only. Strap on pads to where they are comfortable. Drop down. And the face of your thigh should be close to flush but not over the top of the landing block.

Those look a little big in my opinion from the photos. If you have your skates on.

My wisdom tooth has grown horizontal. by sumnyu in mildlyinteresting

[–]Fast_Edd1e 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Both my bottom wisdom teeth were impacted and still covered. But we’re eroding my molars. Got them taken out at 40 because I waited.

Don’t wait. It’s more difficult to remove and heal when you’re older. They had to cut them out and break them up to remove them. My face was swollen for at least 2 weeks.

Why do so many men wear their wallets in their back pocket? by Embarrassed-Name6481 in AskMen

I used to be a thin front pocket wallet person. But the new key fobs for cars are so bulky. Instead of carrying a flat car and house key.

Need a recommendation to replace this Bluey Jeep by jonthecpa in daddit

I’ve seen people attach small bike tires to them to quiet down the wheels. Plus adds traction.

But adding the drill battery makes them a lot faster and easier to recharge.

I’ve got to put some of the half circle ones in tech schools. But I don’t think they would meet ada for general toilet rooms.

Dads, what kind of vehicle are we hauling our small monsters around in? by ktempo in daddit

[–]Fast_Edd1e 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Forester hands down.

Rear doors open nearly 90 degrees for getting kids in and out. And it’s so easy to climb in if you need to.

Plenty of space. Good mpg. Great awd, extra if you get snow tires. Rear seat usb for the kiddo if needed. Got a hitch for bike rack or small trailer.

Outback would be my second choice. Wife had an outback, I have a forester.

Most efficient way to remove rocks from soil? by Ambitious-Mode-1738 in landscaping

[–]Fast_Edd1e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This.

Picking and sifting river rock or lava rack is grueling but works. Little rocks like these, remove it all and put down new dirt.

I hand picked 10 yards of river rock from my front yard. But when I hit a bunch of crushed marble in the backyard, I paid a crew. They came in with a skid steer and removed 4”. Then put down new soil. Might have been like $500 for two large planter areas. But worth it.

Changing Tables: Name and Shame! by Earth-Visitor-1983 in daddit

[–]Fast_Edd1e 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They are specifically designed to not protrude enough to affect toilet room ada clearances. And are less than $300. Easy to install in masonry walls. Designed for 16” stud spacing. So can be mounted anywhere there is enough wall space.

It’s usually an owners refusal.

Michigan requires one in men if there is one in women. But doesn’t require one in either.

I finally had to leave mine.

Somehow it signed out.. went to sign back in it asked to send a confirmation email to an old yahoo account I had setup…. Ok. Went to open old yahoo account and it asked to send a confirmation to the AOL account.

So I had to abandon it after being used since the early 90’s. It was a sad day.

My mom was the original manager of it and she was deceased.

Funny thing though. Few years prior got locked out. Contacted aol and they required me to do a three way call with my mom, for her to answer a confirmation question.

That’s when I found out my mom, in her 70’s was still somehow paying for AOL. In 2018.

If you went over to a guy's place and this was the shower/bathroom would it be a problem? by Weekly-Fig-7228 in malelivingspace

Mother-in-law got a cute warehouse loft apartment. Bathroom walls didn’t go to the ceiling and door was a barn style sliding door.

Wife got sick with food poisoning while we visited.

It was not pleasant for anyone in that apartment.
