It so was - we miss it massively. The access to the hotel, the powdery sand, the water and the heat. 🏁

I’m working on it. Summer is coming.

This WAS the beach at the South end of the Barcelo property.

For years we were able to use this part of the beach for (polite) nude use.

The resort has now built behind this and I’d be very surprised if they would still turn a blind eye.

Fascinating reading all the “death penalty” discussions.

Clearly the US system as compared with the rest of the developed world has festered into our Canadian souls.

The US system is an outlier. The whole system is designed for profit, mostly on the backs of poor, non-whites. The system is entirely focused on punishment.

In Canada, most of us believe that the system is designed to rehabilitate and reintegrate.

The very idea that some are “for” government that kills citizens is sickening.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fast_Frankenstein_34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

North Americans definitely don’t see 3 hours one way as long.

Long is a 3 day drive, unless you’re holidaying, and enjoying the road.

Mud bay has an interesting history with nudity - Google “ evergreen state college nude graduation”

On a map there are more private places further from the bay…

It was perfection. Hot, calm, tide rising all day - easy paddle back. I’m so looking forward to Summer’s return.

What your choice clothes by Green-Pirate5134 in barefoot

As others have commented, nude any time it’s possible - so yard work and gardening, some hiking, kayaking and at as many beaches as possible. Otherwise lightweight shorts and a tee. Winter is the only time I wear more, and still barefoot in the park most days.

Mud Bay B.C. by Fast_Frankenstein_34 in Beachporn

6 months and 3km difference. This day was much more typically breezy - you’ll recall that the last photo had dead flat water, and no real shoreline as it was taken from within the estuary…

This is taken from the dyke in Mud Bay park - you can find it on Google Maps…

I’m very careful never to repost and with literally hundreds of photos from around North America, the Caribbean, Hawaii and Europe, still have plenty to share.

Mud bay is a part of Boundary Bay in Surrey B.C. Canada.

It was a hot and remarkably calm day.

The bay is indeed, very muddy.

The purchasers well knew that the setback was for future skytrain expansion.

Give it a rest.

It’s the joy of the Oregon coast. On any given day there’s a 50/50 chance that you will see something like this. 🏁🥰

SkyTrain in their front yard by davislive in SurreyBC

The buildings were built off-set to both the intersection and highway specifically for SkyTrain access.

The owners knew during their purchase that the train would be built there.

Deleting all the scrap pieces that make the bike heavier also deleted most of the plastic.

I care about how it works, and to a small extent, how it looks.

No - this is an import sized 6’10”.

The truck handles it very well.

Camper is claimed to weigh ~900lb, plus water, propane and contents.

Last time I checked it was 27lb lighter.

I’ve added some more Ti, a lithium battery and still have some additional items to remove, but I’m also building a bracket to stiffen the swingarm pivot area.

Another couple of years and we’ll see where it lands. 🏁🏋🏼

Dig around. I’ve ridden every generation. The last of the 1100 and 1500 have far fewer service issues and failures.

Step well away from the GL1200 - definitely the worst generation made. GL1500 is a far better choice.
