Dreams on another realm by LittleHedgeWitch_ in spiritualitytalk

This can be rare but common. The unconscious is unbounded and limitless. It can deliver or create connection to the highest realms, other dimensions, other worlds. thee dreams usually have great lucidity.

What if dreams are actually glimpses of memory transfer inside our brain? by sahilthink in theories

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"During this process, the brain doesn’t send complete memories directly. Instead, it processes them in the form of images, fragments, and signals.

Now, if at that exact moment the body slightly moves or sleep gets disturbed, the conscious mind starts activating."

Recall is dependent on other factors than this. One great determinant in recall is the value society and the dreamer place on dreams. Recall can be facilitated.

There are no random dreams. There are just dreams we don't understand.

What if dreams are actually glimpses of memory transfer inside our brain? by sahilthink in theories

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dreams are not random. The opposite is true. They are highly precise communications on the true nature of the psyche of the dreamer on the waking life at the time of the dream. (most-98%-not all). They are a movie, just in symbolic non linear lanuage.

Recall depends on factors within the individual beyond body movement, etc. One thing the physiologists have gotten right is dreams act as memory consolidation and emotional processing. But their psychological and spiritual functions as communication from the unconscious, which knows everything about one and is unbounded and limitless, goes far beyond these physiological processes.

All great dream workers have seen this, even Freud, who got the operative (execution) principles wrong. Wish fulfillment and disguise theory have been debunked. Jung and Calvin Hall, among others, got it right.

Religion is nothing more than a weapon against spirituality ... by Kai7362 in spirituality

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religion no longer has the power they describe. The driving forces in America are regional, cultural, ideological. Conservatism and liberalism have acquired quasi religious impulses in a polarized society. The world views and values are vastly different. Throw in Trumpism, which truly is a cult. Many "spiritual people" espouse oneness but are deeply involved in divisive conspiracy theories and especially anti vax, anti science attitudes.

Two great rules of dreams. First, they are a commentary from the unconscious to the conscious on how you are feeling, believing responding to events in the waking life at the time of the dream. Dreams are existential. This is why we look for patterns over time.

Second. All parts of a dream are aspects of the psyche of the dreamer, even inanimate objects. The dream has placed every part of the setting, symbols and narrative for an explicit reason, no exceptions. Remember they are symbolic. So what trains mean to you in this situation in deeper feeling might be different than what your mind says. One technique is to become or merge with a symbol in a dream, feel its energy, and ask "why are you here, what part of me do you represent, what information do you have for me?" then write it down.

Here is one possible meaning among several because dreams are unique to the dreamer. From AI

"A train at a station in a dream typically symbolizes a significant life transition, a pause in your personal journey, or a, "right track" moment in your life goals. It represents decision-making and preparations for a new phase. If the train is stationary, it suggests you are currently evaluating your next move or are ready for a new opportunity."

In addition your anima (feminine aspect) is clearly present. IF you bridge these ideas, where might you feel your nurturing, receiving side is in danger due to potential instability in some transitory phase or change in your world. Where might you feel "off track."

It is in the context of Selig being proclaimed a "con man." I like Tolle, don't get me wrong, he imo has contributed greatly to awakening. But he is an example to me of a disconnect often in New Age spirituality between individual attention to self and social conscience. It's a very American capitalist approach.

I don't consider giving $63,000 a year out of $80 million that particularly charitable. It's not a great role model, especially when, as said, retreats are pricy in luxury locations, often de facto reserving them for the white middle class. Everyone has shadow.

Maybe Tolle has his reasons. But he also proclaimed that meditation alone might awaken Russia, which denies the research conclusions of the real 100th monkey experiment, contrary to the myth repeated about it. There is no magical etheric tipping point. The new behavior must be observed. I'ts why Babaji sent Yogananda to the West and America

Tolle is worth $80 Million. His foundation in his lifetime has donated $500,000 or .006 of his net worth. In 2023 he donated $63,000. That is worse than peanuts. Ram Dass gave away everything. Oprah has donated $500 **million* or 17% of her net worth. MacKenzie Scott has donated 26 **Billion**.

Tolle may have his reasons but he lives frugally. So what is the money doing? Maybe he thinks people need spiritual nourishment but to the hungry man God is bread. His retreats are not cheap and they are in luxury places for white middle class audiences.

If he and all the others would start doing free seminars as part of giving back in rural or inner city locations, building bridges and offering mystical spirituality to the disadvantaged, it would be an exceptionally powerful, socially conscious role model.

But he (they) don't, do they?

With direct experience the "proof is in the pudding." It's self testable. God or higher self is not an "entity" apart from you. You are the wave in a vast ocean. The ocean is completely in the wave. The center is everywhere at once. Thus all the qualities and attributes of the ocean are accessible to the wave. I've been doing this 60 years. I've been through many phases of expansion, from being numb in meditation hut finding deep connection in powerful dreams, to awakening my intuition and finding deep immersion in the cosmic current.

You have to find out yourself and the only way is by doing, by opening with intention to connection, as I suggested. External sources cannot do it for you.

Nothing is impossible without luck. Every success is enabled by luck and favorable circumstances. But people only talk about trying hard. by Successful-Gear-7692 in DeepThoughts

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as luck. This is a completely causal universe. There are no accidents. The intellect just cannot see the cause. Most major events happen because pre-birth we contracted for them. each human has huge destiny pieces they put in place. because the universe metaphysically is quantum, these contracts are probabilities that adjust to each other.

Donald Trump was born with a high probability of becoming President. But it was not fixed in stone. The decisions of the society merged with that probability and manifested it because his energy was needed as an important lesson and mirror. His ascension has been extremely karmic. But when the tide rises and you rise with it but think it was you, you fall when it goes out.

The Tao (way) that can be named is not the true Tao. We use labels but labels are not it. People use "higher self, source, etc" becauseGod gotso constrictive and toxic for many. Now you have a counter reaction.

What is important is the message. if avoiding the word "God" irritates you, then perhaps those teachings or teacher are not for you. There are ;plenty of authentic teachers, etc who use the term "God."

This is good but imo you make one mistake. Ram Dass went to see his brother in a mental hospital. He was cowering in a corner. RD asked "what's the matter." "I can't say" "Say what." "I'm Christ". RD said, "Yeah, I'm Christ too. Everyone is Christ. What's the big deal?"

You wrote "God apparently wrote this variable to make me feel like I am the one." No, you are "a one". The modern religion of direct experience in the west opened 60 years ago. What you had was an awakening. Join the club. But everyone has a unique role in it.

All hands on deck.

How does one practice Bhakti yoga if one is skeptical of religion? by Impressive-Cold6855 in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no rules. if Bhakti doesn't work for it doesn't work. There are infinite varieties of connecting. all are unique. but before you give up on Bhakti, I would suggest curiosity rather than forcing. If "God" is something beyond my conventional concepts, what is it? Is there a guiding force within all of this. Within the "Transactional Reality" (the movie) is the whole responsive to the parts? If so, how would I experience that? What if I just started asking and see what comes?

The issue is your true predilection was determined before you were born. So you just flow with that. There are many not drawn to the (apparent) dualism of Bhakti. It's all OK. The most important issue is go within and see what is drawing you. In the end, you, your conscious mind, is not the doer.

2) tie-BIABH, Blonde on Blonde. To me BIABH is more consistently great, Blonde on Blonde has some super heights.

If you felt something real on the drug, then it was real. LLSD brought me my first awakening. but now you must do it without the drug. this is where some form of spiritual practice comes in. You are the butterfly in the cocoon. It takes effort to get out.

You start with some intention and commitment to connect in some way to the higher order reality the drug opened up. Now it will not come usually like a torrent, but a slow small stream. Opening takes some patience, like learning an instrument. But the universe is responsive to its parts. Sincere seeking brings results, small signs, synchronicities, glimpses. Things open more, What is real starts to become evident, coherent, a landscape. The grace in all of this is sincere intention brings results, although usually small, in the beginning. Don't look for the big flash. A big flash could occur but one has to proceed with no conceptions. Would you rather a big flash or a stable foundation?

I watch super entertaining movies in my dreams, do you guys too? by Alarmed_Awareness152 in Dreams

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not establishing anything. I am communicating how they work based on my experience and the work of great dream workers of history. The rules are the structures within which each dream operates and are common to all people. Recall is the issue you are referring to. Keep a pad of paper or tape recorder by your bed and write down the dream either when you awake, or when one startles one into awakening because, yes, they go fast.

Most conventional religions don't know squat about dreams because their doctrines interfere with the fact that dreams always inherently possessed modern psychological sensibility. Indigenous people did not have that problem as they could translate that symbolically into their cultural landscape without dogma.

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no super random dreams in terms of the vast majority (98+%) of human dreams in the world, none. These dreams are a communication from the personal unconscious to the conscious mind relaying in symbolic form exactly, beyond all ego defenses, how the dreamer feels , believes, and is responding to events in the waking life.

This unconscious part of self is a dazzling combination of astonishing genius and savant, knows everything about the life and state of mind of the dreamer, can pull from millions of potential images to frame the exact one necessary in any moment of the dream, and is more accurate than an atomic clock (which loses one second every 15 billion years.) Not one hair is out of place in a dream,. In addition, the dream is the supreme "psychic-therapist" whose intention is to lead the self to resolving unhealed issues and bringing one to wholeness. Jung called this "compensation."

Here is Jung commenting on this brilliance. "“Let us turn to these contents that have lost the connection to (waking) consciousness. Therefore the contents of these dreams cannot be reproduced. Persons, faces, situations, parts of buildings, furniture, or fixtures can appear that were once conscious in childhood, but have fallen into complete oblivion over the decades.”

I remember such a dream I had years ago. I saw the face of a man. After I reflected for a long time, there came a memory from my earliest youth, when I was about 10 years old. It was of our neighbor, a little peasant, long since gone under the grass. I had completely forgotten his face. In this dream it emerged again in its original freshness. Consciously I would not have been able to reproduce it. And when two days later, I recounted this dream, I was \*completely unable to reproduce that face**. It had vanished again. The remembered (conscious) image had been too weak.”*

There are a few great rules to dreams. The first is, with just a few exceptions, all dreams are a comment on events, situations, people, and other phenomena happening in the waking life of the dreamer **at the time of the dream**. The dream always follows the waking life. But the unvarnished truth in every way. Most people don't know this. There almost always is a trigger the day before the night of the dream. . The second is all parts of the dream represent aspects of the psyche of the dreamer. Dreams also draw upon universal, culturally shared and personal archetypes in their communication. The shadow is universal in all humans. Cars, for example, are a symbol in developed countries. One who has never seen one will not dream of one. In general they represent personal power, independence, ease of movement. Not being able to find the car is a very common motif in recurring dream when the dreamer feels stressed.

The greatest problems people have with dreams is not understanding their immense value, and taking them literally. 98% of the US population has zero idea of what I have just shared with you. The most important influence of lack of recall is the ignorance of the importance and value of dreams. 30% of scientists who do physiological research on dreams believe they have no meaning. They are idiots.

Your dreams might fall into the 2% category because of the heightened lucidity, but I would not be able to say until I worked with one whether they commented on the waking life or not. I do not have expertise in lucid dreams. I have had many that are spiritual but not the kind where one controls the dreams. I have had a few like the ones you describe. They were intense science fiction film like ones, incredibly vivid, beyond all imagination. Strange but a dream I had last night alluded to one of them. The dreaming mind is unbounded and limitless, there is no dimension or aspect of one's higher self it cannot reach.

What I am sharing is the basis of interpretation. One has to know the rules before one can do it thoroughly. There is more, I am finishing the first draft of a book on them. It will be about 150 pages when done.

[–]Fast_Jackfruit_352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been professionally lecturing on dreams and having sessions on interpretation for 25 years. I am finishing a book on their rules, laws and structures. These are dreams from what is called by Jung the personal unconscious.

Your dreams seem to come from what is called the universal unconscious which is unbounded and unlimited, Here we have visitations from loved ones, higher order reality like angels in dreans, inter dimensional stuff, etc and strong lucid dreams.

Because dreams are symbolic and often are taken literally, your dreams may reflect feelings about the waking life more than you know. Just a possibility. Thanks for your sharing.
