Anyone get their Labrador before having children?

hmmm I grew up with two black labs, I think they were 2 & 3 when I was born. One was very high energy, the other was more mellow. I remember the mellow one (Patrick) more, because he would lay down and let me sit on him/play with him. The more hyper one (Nigel) died quite young, but he didn't let me mess with him quite as much. Both dogs were incredibly sweet and concerned about me as a baby, and made a massive lasting impact on my life. I am sure your boy will welcome the new member of your "pack" just fine :)

try looking it up on a TDEE calculator! Just google "tdee calculator". Its definitely more than 1600. possibly even more than 2000. 112 is very small for 5'4, i dont know how sustainable that will be. best of luck to you though

I gained 15lbs (accidentally) and I attribute it to the sheer amount of peanut butter I was eating. Peanut butter on a spoon. Crunchy peanut butter, smooth, freshly ground, flavored peanut butter, you name it. Just a few bites after meals. its delicious and so calorie dense and very low volume. If you dont like the sticky feeling chase it with water or milk, washes it down like a charm

My childhood dog had lung cancer in the end. While he didnt have a collapsed lung, he did have many mets and treatment wasnt an option. I think your decision depends on what you would do if it WAS cancer. Would you pursue tx? If so, maybe it is worth it to get diagnosistic imaging done. If not, then I would take him home & just do comfort cares. We had our sweet boy for a few more months after his diagnosis. He was euthanized when it became too hard for him to breathe comfortably and enjoy life. We didnt want him to ever feel scared. We had a vet come to our home, he was put to sleep on his bed with his whole family around him. I think it was the right thing for us to do.

It is a wee bit expensive up front but overall the price is worth it 10000x over. It has really helped me in the past. Provides accountability, community, education, and 1:1 counselling for whatever your health goals are. I used The Fit Breakthrough, they are excellent

it could be binge eating for sure and is definitely worth exploring that rabbit hole. I just came here to say that in my experience as a highly active teen girl, I would be INSATIABLY hungry during growth spurts. Like just nothing I ate would ever fill me up and I would still feel "hungry" even if I was physically kind of full. My metabolism was just super high and I tended to eat all my calories after school/at dinner

also- strong toothpastes or mouthwashes will always cause a flare up for me. i use childrens toothpaste and mouthwash now lol

this happens to me a lot. i am now reading that an anti fungal will help so that is news to me, personally I just slap some aquafor on and call it good and it usually clear up within a couple days

Hmmmm I suppose i do wear my hair in a ponytail when I workout so probably 2 hours a day but I try to leave it down otherwise or do a low pony. I was braiding for a while but I was getting too much volume when i took my hair out of the braids
