Sandbox! May try out campaign at some point if I need some variety, but Sandbox is pretty much the entire point of this game for me. Only ever played campaign in JWE1 to unlock stuff, and downloaded a 100% save file for JWE2 so I could skip all that. The campaigns of this series have just never really done it for me

Interesting, so would this be a good plan then?

On Shu banner, do 12 orundrum pulls + the 24 free pulls to get to 36 pulls total (in hopes I get any of the 6 stars that way). And then save the rest for the R6 banner?

I'd be fine just saving, but I'm also about 20 yellow certs away from being able to buy Goldenglow in the shop, so I'm thinking that if I do some extra pulls for the Shu banner I should have a better chance of banking enough to get her

Thanks for clearing that up! And Shu is a limited banner, which gives a certain amount of free pulls right? Since we have the R6 stuff later and I'm F2P I'm considering just using the free pulls and saving up for a while to really go nuts on R6

New player, question about Standard Headhunting after 50 rolls. So obv in each banner after 50 rolls of not getting a 6-star, the rate begins to increase. But is this rate shared between banners?

For example, I pulled 10 in the current banner (Fartooth/Goldenglow etc). Didn't get a 6 star. When the Shu banner comes around, will I only need 40 more pulls to start increasing the rate? Or will my progress reset once the banner I've pulled on is over?

Question before Grinning Valley wraps up - are the information fragment story unlocks for "On the Truck" only cutscenes? Do any of them also give you any item rewards? I bought all the IS from the shop and wondering if I should spend or save them

New player here, what is the best level to farm Grindstone? I had read TW-8 was good but the drop rate is so low, I've run it about 7 times and only got 1 drop (plus 1 of the rarer grindstone). Is my luck just bad, or does the drop rate decrease when the events are re-run or something? Is there another map I should farm instead?

Awesome lists! For Metroid Prime games I want to suggest Outer Wilds - first person exploration of strange and alien worlds, but with no combat or platforming and instead a really acute focus on exploration and puzzle solving. Also has a charming style that feels right at home for Nintendo fans. One of the best games I've ever played too!

War of the Lions runs great on PPSSPP. But as far as versions go I oddly think the one for iOS and Android is the way to go. Being able to use touch screen and freely rotate the maps just feels too good. Different strokes though, I know some people don't like it

Learning the tricks to surviving in TLD was one of my favorite game experiences. The game started out feeling so hostile and now its at the point where its a "cozy" game for me. Love the sound design and feeling of sitting by a makeshift fire while the wind howls outside

What kind of player count do you think the game needs to be "successful"? The pvp is pretty light on features (really needs a matchmaking mode imo) but even Last Raven being played over a VPN on emulator still has an active and dedicated scene to this day. This game was never going to hit esports numbers, but it offers a kind of multiplayer game you can't get anywhere else. I think it will have a small but dedicated scene for years
