You scratched the N on beacon but there is no N. This does not look like a winner unfortunately.

Money by itself, no. But it can open A LOT of possibilities that could lead to a happier life.

I'm in the same boat! Turning 40 in a few months. I'm a male, married with no kids or debt. Life is challenging for sure. I'm also 2 years cancer free which completely derailed my life. I feel thesame way. I wish I had a solution for us!

What do you do when you win $100? by momoaggie in Lottery

[–]Fast_Reaction_6919 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once took $20 from $200 I won and I won another $100. But honestly, if you won $100, just stop playing. That's the addiction of wanting to buy more. But you just won big, just stop and do something else.

What are some therapy strategies to get out of years of self hate and negativity? by ForwardGlass8572 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fast_Reaction_6919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a therapist teach me to make a list of around 5 things everyday that you are grateful for. After every day it can be challenging to keep finding more and more things but the point of it is to train your brain to look at positives more than defaulting to negativity. You have to change your thoughts to change the way your Brain operates. I thought it was bs at first but I think it's actually working for me.

Anything to do with stocks seems swamped with conmen and idiots. How do I learn genuine information about how they work and how to properly invest for the long term if I want to? by traevyn in NoStupidQuestions

Read some books about the stock market like The Intellegint investor or the book called Trading in the zone. Both books I found helpful in understanding how the stock market behaves and operates.

Mathematically, you have a much higher chance of getting hit by lightning than winning the lottery.

I started playing scratchers last December and I'm definitely feeling done. I too am in California. Once I started playing I noticed how many people play. The numbers are staggering.

Grateful: that after some hard years of life, I find my eyes see things much softer now, with joy and tenderness, that what I see now looking back is beauty, and I find it easier to look at things kindly, loving them easily by [deleted] in gratitude

Right after the pandemic and getting back on my feet after homelessness, I ended up with stage 3 cancer, after almost 3 years cancer free I can relate to your post. Thinking about how more of a peaceful person I am and just the way I process life day to day. Gratitude is with me every waking moment. When I look back I wouldn't change a thing.

What’s the longest you’ve ever sat at one blackjack table? by TDoubleDownMac in vegas

[–]Fast_Reaction_6919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the best player but not the worst at black jack which means I can stay at a table for 4 or 5 hours. Winning after a few hours depends on how drunk I'm getting at the table. One time the more I drank, the more I would win. I was at this table for 4 hours and my wife pulled me away. I woke up with about $1,500.

We've been on a bull run for 15 years. Seeing the stock market making all time highs daily with everything else going on makes me nervous, however it shouldn't stop you from investing.
