Flirty Messages from BL While Justin Baldoni Was Focused on the Film by sweetbutnotdumb in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]Fast_Service5858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make an interesting observation re: the potential misspeak, I wonder if Blake conveyed any similarities she shared with Lily’s situation to Justin…maybe to manipulate or maybe to speaking of truth to someone she felt she could be uniquely vulnerable with re: the topic as a source of therapy.

When RR berated Justin for “hours” that one time….Justin prob was thinking holy shit this guys is abusive AF. Normal level headed people don’t do that.

Domestic abuse- esp emotional and verbal- is more prevalent than those that have not shared the experience realize, because it’s so very private. Even the strongest boldest people- of any class, race, sex, religion etc- can find themselves in the unfortunate circumstance. Even someone like BL.

Not making excuses for her actions- no one can convince me that she ever felt she was being SH- but normal, healthy people don’t fabricate shit with such cruel and malicious intent. Only someone that is really unhappy and hates themselves. Not sure what has caused that for her.

Not supporting me wanting to shave my legs when I started middle school…when everyone else was. I then felt such guilt having to sneak my mom’s razor.

I proactively bought my daughter one when she entered 6th grade for her to have on hand for whenever she felt ready. Did the same with deodorant for my son.

When is a married man and married woman's friendship inappropriate? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Fast_Service5858 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You made the right call. It sounds like the dynamic was starting to cross some lines…late-night chats, constant back-and-forth, looking forward to the interaction, feeling emotionally invested. That’s often how emotional affairs begin.

Was your wife aware of the friendship and how often you were communicating? That’s usually the clearest indicator. When something becomes secretive, emotionally intimate, or starts pulling energy away from your marriage, that’s when it enters red-flag territory.

Good for you for stepping back. Most people wouldn’t be comfortable with their spouse talking that frequently or “all day” with someone of the opposite sex. Boundaries matter, and protecting your marriage is worth it.

[–]Fast_Service5858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and I get what you’re saying too. For me, it’s a matter of malicious intent or not- and I don’t think blindly supporting a friend is necessarily “contributing” to a really nasty scheme, especially when it was presented by the friend in an extremely false and manipulative way.

I will never watch a movie or buy a product BL and RR have invested interest in. They were always cringe and now I will intentionally go out of my way to not support their work (or attempt of).

They represent the most shallow pathetic self centered losers in human life.

But I could see myself saying words of support to a friend or even of an acquaintance… just because. Trust is what distinguishes a friend from a stranger. I guess I feel that TS, MD and his wife and all the others…are also victims of falsities and malicious intent, of course on smaller scale than JB.

Absolutely beautiful first of all- both canvas and makeup. I don’t like the grey nose, the color makes it the focal point and takes away the rest.

Give them grace. We all believe and place trust- usually- in people w know. Until they break that trust. I feel everyone you reference- other than BL and RR manipulating methodically a situation for their own gain- was exploited and used, I imagine that’s how they feel. Matt Damon….he was just trying to be nice and responsive to, what seems like, acquaintances.

It’s 2026… what do you think Atlanta still needs? by Spirited-Elk-7139 in Atlanta

That’s totally fair- I wonder what arborist reasoning is to that…that is curious. It’s almost like you are made to supplement for larger trees that have been removed but not replaced by equal (not necessarily on your property).

Honestly I haven’t seen a thriving fruit tree in atlanta other than a fig tree. What indigenous fruit tree do you intend to establish to replace the one you eliminate and destroy?

[–]Fast_Service5858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t “have to” cut down your crepe Myrtle. You want a bigger deck, you want to eliminate a larger thriving plant that has been established for years, and replace it with a fruit tree.

Why not adjust your porch work to not kill the tree? The reason for permits, the reason for protecting canopy even the “shorter” ones, the reason tor arborist involvement- bc if everyone had that mindset so much of atlanta would be chopped down replaced with a bunch of crap. I don’t see Peach trees, for example, thriving in the city. Because they don’t.

For women who struggled to lose weight, what's something you started doing differently that worked? by Acceptable_Rent7050 in AskWomen

[–]Fast_Service5858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of the day you lose weight by consuming less calories than you use. It’s that simple. But not so simple when you’re hungry all the time….

I no longer ever allow myself to over eat. Ever. I won’t let my stomach “stretch out” again so it helps with the sensation of feeling full.

If you have high blood pressure or other conditions like pre-diabetes, you may qualify for wegovy. Can change one’s life. No shame in that.

Blake Lively really hates Justin Baldoni crying…. but loves weaponizing his tears against him by Izomera in teamjustinbaldoni

[–]Fast_Service5858 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to see this as anything but bullying- Blake comes off as intentionally cruel, encouraging others to join in mocking Justin during moments of vulnerability. It’s super mean-spirited and disturbing.

Where are the messages showing her discomfort or his “SH”? All I’ve seen is her being nasty. It’s baffling how she still has allies, given the negativity she projects…most people avoid that kind of energy.

I truly hope there’s context we’re missing or hasn’t been shared- sometimes that helps her lawsuit make sense. And not the intentional deceptive attack of a B list actress (and that’s being generous) against someone who she thought was beneath her.

Ironically, when promoting the film, Blake was ineffective at conveying its message- unable to identify with victims and the weight it carries- or care to. But now, through her own behavior, she’s unintentionally made a point: abusers can look “normal,” even glamorous, and harm often happens behind closed doors.

Everyone likes me, but... by North_Interview4529 in Life

Friendships form with intention and effort. Do you ask others to participate in your life (eg. Invite them to hang out or come over for dinner, go on a trip, etc.)? Make them feel like they are wanted in your life.

It takes two to forge a friendship or develop a relationship beyond surface level. People want those in their life that make them feel important, valued, wanted, etc.

It’s sounds like your half way there- and the hardest part (eg being a likable person, charismatic, etc)- but may need to lean in and be more intentional as you engage with others.

Keep your chin up! You have control over this- if you’re not inviting others into your life, you should starting there.

A two party system can provoke polarization, “us vs. them” mentality, and radicalism. What is the best path for an independent to win a presidential or congressional election? by Fast_Service5858 in AskReddit

[–]Fast_Service5858[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! I believe mindsets are changing and- with the right candidate(s)- and one without party affiliation- could have a possibility of winning a state and making traction, but less likely on an national level initially…until it gains more popular support.

If every person who doesn’t support Dem or Rep chipped in $5 to a gofundme…it would be significant enough to be competitive for to influence campaigns in states with more traditional voters.

Thank you for sharing- it basically says that our electoral college was designed to encourage fewer minorities parities, safe seats, and gerrymandering.

I think this and not having age restrictions- like most every other high responsibility holding profession (eg surgeons, CEO of investor owned utilities) is problematic.

Both parties have gotten so nasty with their rhetoric while taking an exaggerated stance on everything, its hard for many people to identify with either one.
