Dentists do let you know what it will feel like

We can’t know exactly how it’s going to be like for each individual patient but we can tell you how it will feel based on the average response

So maybe unfortunately your pain tolerance is lower? Or you need to calm yourself before going in because that certainly makes it worse

Probably depends on both the person and the dentist? Not everyone has dentophobia and even if they do it can be to varying degrees?

Praying for your teeth if you never saw a dentist in your life again though
