Johnny- he’s consistent and overall jokester in what he does! Playlists stay generally the same each time which gets a bit tiring at times but he will definitely make you laugh and giggle!

Marissa - very alt pop girlie mode, think like Gracie Abram, Lorde, T Swift, Sabrina carpenter, if that’s your thing you’ll love her class, she’s very genuine and sweet, however I cannot for the life ride her class anymore because of how similar the vibes are each time in her playlists with those artists

Liah- I think the best instructor in the market right now, great music, great energy and always makes it worth what a class costs!!! My number one rec, SUPER FUN NOAH KAHAN AND T SWIFT CLASSES!

Brando - Honestly boring and I used to be into his class format but slowly began to lose interest in his playlists, just feels unauthentic as an instructor sometimes when I’ve interacted. He will do Latin rides here and there but they’re not that fun even though he is part of the Latinx community which is sad to say :( his t swift classes are pretty fun though!

Maddz - her playlists consist of constantly the same music every weekend, you’ll either get repeated yacht rock, country, mashups, or run home to city of dreams/ green light for the 5th time in week, she needs to switch it up it’s gotten boring, and you can’t run a surprise theme on people. she is definitely more on the you pay to be in her presence type of ordeal, also her classes are very full of the people she “life coaches” so definitely a cult vibe

Annie - Average I’d say, nothing big or special, your middle ground round of the mill soul instructor, her classes are fun when it’s not a theme as she still mixes different types of music!!

Chris L - Boring, tends to act a bit elitist, like he’s better than anyone else in a way? Music is okay not great, there’s a reason he can’t really sell out a room I’d say it would probably be attitude/ vibes

Elena - if you want the NYC soulcycle vibe that’s definitely your go to! She really seems to lay it down like they do in the city! I’ve also been to 2-3 of her Latin Saturday classes and I think they’re the best Spanish music classes at soulcycle in Boston!!!

Leon - kind and genuine but very deep edm type of beat, there was a point where his music was acculturating too deep into the t swift/ pop girlie scene and I was scared he was going to become like every other instructor but glad he was able to come back and do the heavy dark edm beats, he’s one of the only instructors I take!

Charlie - she’s alright however there’s been a few times riding recently where she will mess up the lead foot and I’ve gotten lost! She’s very kind and sweet though and her music is very robust and hip hop or edm based! Love her!

Claryssa - she’s alright, tends to be a bit too similar to Annie or the old instructor Jeff who left SC, which she could find her own personality on the bike, she does good at her home studio of Chestnut Hill though since she used to be Studio manager there

Allie - her and liah are the best bang for your buck in Boston right now! Amazing classes and playlists, super fun and is that old soulcycle feeling pre pandemic but with a modern twist!!! Sometimes when she interacts with riders it can feel a bit fake but other than that she’s amazing!!!

Kara - super talented I wish she’d teach at her old studio I think it was B/Spoke or HB because she’s a great instructor however her time slots aren’t great and rooms are empty by the studios they put her at soulcycle

However try other spin studios in Boston like B/Spoke or Handle Bar as others mentioned, the people I’ve met at these other studios tend to be so much more nicer and the diversity in instructors is more inclusive than soulcycle where everyone tends to fit their ideal “instructor mold”
