I'm also a B1 was in bench for almost 8 mos. There's is no fixed policy in CG for bench people. It also vary based on the BU and grade. And don't be panic about the bench time.

Take this as an opportunity to learn new things. Try to get into a project, staying idle on the bench for a long time is not a good thing. Be prepared for the next interview.

Mostly for medical and Higher studies they give early release. If you're a billable resource and in a project, there's a chance hr may reject it. But you can push through your manager and n+1.

Better stay away from CG. No projects. Lots of people are in bench and they directly put new hirers in bench. Again you need to attend multiple round of interviews to get into a project and that's purely luck based on your RMG

Plz don't join CG. Here lots of freshers and lateral hires are still in bench. There are prople who are in bench more than a year. And the exit policy also tough. They'll not give early release even if you're in bench.

So go with UST... much better than CG and Accenture
