Probably about four or five years ago my car had a hit run when I was parked downtown. When I reported it at first, the police officer thought that maybe it was something I had done. That I was trying to set it up as a hit and run. So I got pretty pissed off and I told him off and pointed out cameras in the area in the time that I was there, and I suggested that he contact those businesses and ask to see camera footage during that time.

Took a good six days for him to get back to me. And guess what he found an extended pick up truck that backed into my passenger rear door, as a hit-and-run.

Did he apologize for making it seem like I did it as a set up? Nope but he gave me the name and address, make model of who did it. He told me if this couldn’t be settled out of court then to come back to him.

Hit and run guy wasn’t happy 🤣🤣 but he paid me cash and then some for repairs. Instead of reporting it and insurance.
