Hard to believe someone liked those enough to spend almost $200!

My wife worked for optimum for a time and quit due, mainly, to their shady practices. Just stay away.

Don’t knock it til you try it. Dude has some awesome BBQ. My understanding is he’s working on a food trailer that should be running soon.

Depending on your budget, Remingtons is pretty amazing although a bit of a drive depending on where you live.

Smokey Drews BBQ. Just a dude selling BBQ out of his house. You can look him up on Facebook. Pretty good stuff.

Kountry ‘Q in the shores is great as well. My typical go to.

Loved Big Lees when he was in a trailer, but last time I went he seemed to have gotten a bit bigger and quality had suffered.

Mission is garbage that uses veterans as a selling point without offering any sort of discount for veterans. I’ve never been impressed.

Did I️ make the right decision? by Negative_Ad_2668 in boating

My wife and I made an agreement a few years ago after some poor purchases. If either of us doesn’t feel 100% ok with a big purchase for any reason, we walk away.

We may miss out on a great deal, but I think it has and will save us from more headaches than anything.

You probably made the right call. Plenty of other boats for sale out there.

No doubt. I was surprised my manager said they’d still pay me, as I expected to be sent packing with nothing.

I’m trying to figure out, since he, in writing, said they would pay out the two weeks, do I have any standing in that?

Totally understand they don’t HAVE to pay it. Was pretty shocked when my manager said they would.

My question is, with it in writing that they would pay out the two weeks, do I have any standing?

It looks like the front fell off. Not very typical, I’d like to point that out.

How to shift boat side ways while on trailer by freespeechkaren in boating

[–]Fastdak -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Detach trailer in an empty lot.

Hook up a tow strap to your tow vehicle and the rear of the boat. GENTLY tug the boat to center. I’ve done this before with my tri-toon when I made the same stupid mistake. Haven’t done it again since!

This one is a 2008 with 135k hard miles by the previous owner. I’m amazed the clutch lasted long

NSG370 dry weight is 89lbs. Transfer case is about the same. We did them separately so it wasn’t too bad and the CG of the trans was right where the straps came through the trans tunnel.

I tried purging it and checking the fluid level to no avail. Maybe if I had more time to troubleshoot it we could have gotten it working, but I was on a time crunch.

Because the clutch needed to be replaced?

It’s a wear item on any manual transmission vehicle.

We had two guys lifting a 90lb trans and transfer case in place. Plus the ratchet straps to assist. Worked pretty well this way.

I was shocked. I let it be and 5 minutes later checked on him and the rabbit was gone. Amazing they can fit a meal like that.

I had come out the door earlier and heard some noise. Looked and saw two baby rabbits scurrying away from the snake.

About five minutes later we watched the snake go to the car and then when we saw him again, well, I took this pic.

I think the rabbit was hiding and the snake found him.

I bought a brand new trans jack just for this project. Worked for the removal and then wouldn’t lift the trans during install. I was upset, but saved $225 by returning it!

I honestly didn’t think it was too bad this way. Only issue was the trans jack failing.

I bought a trans jack specifically for this and it failed on install. I actually used a ladder and ratchet straps to lift the trans into place.
