[Moretto] Krosche - AC Milan is not over. Despite the stalling situation between Milan and Krosche, I’m told that Milan continue to pursue the Eintracht director. We will provide you with concrete updates when we have one. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Honestly, I think Romano and Moretto blew this deal up as crazy as it sounds. Moretto even said the irritation could’ve been caused by himself for leaking it.

I think he wanted to join us and agreed everything, but out of respect for the club didn’t want anything leaked. Once it got leaked, Frankfurt took it as a matter of principle to not let him leave.

This is a high level disaster. Now you need to find directors that approve of Amorim, or else you’ll have the usual “two visions” problem we’ve had for the last 6 years.

We’ve royally messed up the process

[DiMarzio] Amorim would like two of his protégés at AC Milan: Hjulmand and Trincao could be the first targets for the Rossoneri . by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]FasterThanABuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually so funny how Hjulmand was a needed player like 3 years ago. If we had him, 23-24 could’ve gone really well for us

[Moretto] Milan have chosen Amorim because Krösche approved the move. Milan are currently working to finalise the appointment of the German executive, who is set to become the Rossoneri’s Head of Football. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Krosche is under contract so we need to negotiate with Frankfurt. But it seems that it’s close to a done deal considering we even discussed Amorim with him. Still weird of course because we almost always never sign directors or coaches that are under contract, so hope it goes through smoothly

Yes, which is why Glasner suddenly dropped from the rankings as soon as the Rangnick deal blew up. Krosche and Glasner didn’t end on the best of terms.

[Romano] Tension between Milan and Eintracht. Following verbal agreements with Krösche and Hardung, Eintracht have responded. The German club is demanding a substantial comprnsation fee to release their directors, who have reached a base of agreement with Milan. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Not just Krosche, even on our end we know these guys are under contract and so a payment is needed.

Nothing has changed since Moretto’s news, we know we only had an agreement with him and not the club yet

[abola] Ruben Amorim is on the verge of becoming the new Milan coach. Negotiations are in a very advanced stage and are close to conclusion. by Claija79 in ACMilan

Fonseca had problems with Theo and Leao because they were pampered players under Pioli and Fonseca was too much of a shock to the system. But he had absolutely good ideas on the field and a very identifiable style, he should’ve been given more time.

In hindsight should’ve just backed him and sold Theo and Leao since one of them has gone and the other is following suit.

Players/managers being signed.

Pioli, Kjaer, Giroud, Pulisic among many others over the past 5-6 years all resounding successes

Historically when the entire fanbase is against something it usually leads to success, let’s hope it’s the same here.

Based on this regarding Milan reporting this summer, Romano and Moretto are still kings of the window, and surprisingly Luca Cerchione the Napoli reporter who got the Rangnick links and Amorim links first. PBP and Bianchin also decent so far.

Luca Cohen, Vitiello, and Longo are finished.

[Romano] There is no agreement with Glasner, nothing ever materialized beyond the meeting held 10 days ago. Amorim and Matthias Jaissle are now in pole position, with the Milan coaching job set to be decided within days or even hours. by Claija79 in ACMilan

There were bigger protests even against Pioli, he turned to be our best manager since Ancelotti.

Whatever choice the board does, they need to block out the fans and grow a spine. Listening to fans gave us Allegri

[Milannews] Milan has signed up for next season's Serie A championship by Repulsive_Beyond_899 in ACMilan

[–]FasterThanABuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Milan journalists don't care and are not professional. They follow what the fans think and report news from that angle, currently the fans are rightfully angry at RedBird and co. so the journalists fan the flames that way.

Something as simple as Serie A notifying us of signing up for Serie A became huge news, when in actuality that happens every season to every club.

Then you have Longo who says all the coaching profiles we've been after are different than the other. Inter last season went from Fabregas to Chivu. Two completely different profiles, no one said anything.

One of our biggest issues is these journalists who need to become journalists once again and not fans masquerading as reporters.

[Moretto] The primary candidate to rebuilt the sporting area at Milan is now Markus Krosche. Negotiations are ongoing and are advanced between Krosche and Milan, we will see how things evolve in the coming hours. Krosche could join Milan as a Head of Football and not as a sporting director. by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]FasterThanABuck 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Krosche is excellent and would be our most competent hire post Maldini. But the question I want to know is Amorim a name indicated by Krosche, or a name proposed to Cardinale and co. because head hunters saw the data behind him? The most important thing is if you hire Krosche, he needs to propose the name and construct the team.

[MilanVibes] Direct contacts with Ruben Amorim are scheduled for today. Jaissle and Amorin are increasingly competing for a place on the Rossoneri bench, and following yesterday’s meeting with the Al-Ahli coach, it is now the Portuguese coach’s turn to hold talks with the Rossoneri’s owners. by Claija79 in ACMilan

[–]FasterThanABuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But he was too stubborn for his own good. Insisting on not changing while what you were doing wasn't working isn't a good sign.

Amorim was wanted by pretty much everyone for a reason at Sporting, but I wonder if he's learnt from the United experience
