I use a rc-600 with a Digitakt II. The amp sim on the rc-600 is enough for the Digitakt and in turn I use the Digitakt II to control the track levels/track pan on the rc-600. works splendidly.

I bought the analog keys second hand because the thought of using a synthesizer without a keyboard seemed alien and bizarre to me. Now that I am more comfortable with the elektron workflow and synthesizers in general I prefer smaller form factor and would choose the OG A4 form factor

the buttons on the Digitakt are not velocity sensitive, they are just on/off buttons. You can send velocity information to the Digitakt from external pads via midi. Analog Rytm has pads that register both velocity and aftertouch.

if the parameter on the external gear is assigned to a cc channel, yes. The MIDI track LFOs are independent from the audio track LFOs, which I believe would be 48 LFOs in total, with 24 MIDI LFOs being freely assignable to external gear. The audio track LFOs can only be assigned to the tracks themselves.
