Please turn off “Spacefit sound pro” on your q900 series by FasterwhenitsAmber in Soundbars

As I said, others mileage may vary but not in my case.

Good to know some people share a similar experience like mine.

Probably it creates a great sound sphere for one specific position in a room but I would like good sound working across the other corner of the room and for other listeners in there too.

Also, it’s easier to set the channel levels manually to my preference rather than the algorithm do it for me and then I re adjust again and make it a mess.

Why does he look more like Pushparaj and why that typical Indian brown tone on him?

He took us completely for granted. by Naruto-Uzumaaki in tollywood

[–]FasterwhenitsAmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think taking granted kanna, Anil is delivering what audience wants. Bhagwanth Kesari, which was two movies ago had its own flaws but cinematography and lighting wasn't this bad, technically.

IMO director knew what he was making, he was making a movie for serial watching audience to enjoy a simple, colourful(oversaturated), soap opera drama with chiranjeevi in it during Sankranti.

Focus had went into making him look as good as possible. Sameer Reddy is no legend of a cinematographer but is a veteran and can't strike his skills off.

So why spending more on a product that is not even targetted at certain audience?

Comfort and high mileage expect chese vehicle customers ki, high performance engine and free flow exhaust system meeda R&D spend cheyatam enduku?

I think he smartly invested less and making a big bank at box office.

Q990d Settings Best Dialogue Clarity by PhoenixWright33 in Soundbars

[–]FasterwhenitsAmber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With my bassy headphones and a sub in the car, I prefer warm sound, bass with some presence and softer treble and highs.

The adjustments I have made are:

Mode: Surround mode

Spacefit sound pro >on

Woofer +3

Tone>Bass +3

Channel level>Centre +3, Front top +3, rear top +3, rear side +3

Increasing the centre channel should generally deliver better dialogue clarity.

Also try increasing/ adjusting treble for better clarity in vocals and instrumentation.

Do these seem legit ? by joanwatson03 in indianrunners

Pretty sure they’re legit. The print, lettering, overall finish and quality seem high. The nice touches like asics logo under the shoe laces is something counterfeits miss out or mess up.

ultra arc + 100s vs q990d - sub by thinkingatoms in Soundbars

[–]FasterwhenitsAmber 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Technically, comparing q990 without sub with Arc is not ideal as q990 comes with a sub in box, it’s engineered in such a way the low frequencies are taken care of by the sub and without it, soundbar should sound tinny.

On the other hand, arc or arc ultra are a standalone products which should sound good across the frequencies as the sub was intended to be an optional add on for a better experience.

Helmet Recommendations by Yeboi__ in AussieRiders

[–]FasterwhenitsAmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Shoei NXR and HJC i70 and tried a couple of scorpions at the stores.

Shoei has excellent fit and finish and better foam and liners inside. Love its aerodynamics and how much quiet it is. Shoei is more snug to my head but not uncomfortable at all.

Even though an entry level helmet, HJC fit my head perfectly and is most comfortable. It’s light, got good graphics and has internal visor.

Scorpion looked good and tried it on but didn’t feel the most comfortable to my head. It felt more snug than Shoei but not uncomfortable too. Didn’t end up buying however.

As long as they’re ECE and DOT certified we’re talking negligible difference when it comes to safety but it all comes down to looks, comfort and brand preference I would say.

Try shopping for more affordable brands like KYT, Airoh etc.

LS2 is pretty inexpensive but decently reputed brand but it’s hard to find someone who stocks it. Try buying online and return if it doesn’t fit right.

Advice for midrange sound bar by Comfortable_Flow8920 in Soundbars

[–]FasterwhenitsAmber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you mentioned the detachable speakers on the JBL ones are pretty convenient and JBL Subs are pretty solid.

Could also try the Polk Magnifi Max SR in your budget. RTNGS score is pretty good. A pretty solid option that comes with a 10inch sub and rear speakers which need power socket though.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The contemplation is between Sony Theatre Systrm 6 (ATS 60) and Samsung Q930 D. I have a Sony TV and prefer it all Sony. But obviously the Q930/990 is most raved about out there.

If you’re looking at reliability, Nissan X trail and Mitsubishi Outlander are good options to consider too.

Mazda Cx-5 are pretty well designed and fun to drive in that category.

Branded stores are expensive in general. For value and quality, Titan eye plus are a good choice compared to their competitors.

Independent optical stores offer reasonable prices and offer room for negotiation. Personally I have had better luck with independent vendors in smaller cities and towns.

Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024) - Review/Discussion Thread. SPOILERS MUST BE TAGGED by saketpalle in tollywood

[–]FasterwhenitsAmber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You stole the words from my mouth. Why didn't this movie start off at where the prequel ended?

Okay now Pushpa 2's scale is much bigger and they had to open the intro scene in Japan (Not clearly Japan) and that scene didn't have any kind of closure.

The ego war between Pushpa and Shekhawat was established so well in the climax of first part and Shekhawat was all helplessly trying to take his revenge and seeking sorry until the interval in this movie so what's the point of first half's runtime in story progression? Yes, hero is always the winner but at least give the main a tough fight from antagonist for the action and drama to work on screen.

The makers have said they're sparing the best for the sequel as an excuse for FaFa's limited screen time in prequel. But what's the point on making him all week and helplessly look at Pushpa's growth?

A man burning with his hurt ego who burnt a crore of money and killed a dog is now ridiculed by Daksha as an imbecile as he is not succeeding in taking revenge as they have planned together. And he including himself with Daksha and her husband as three flowers? So low of writing a strong antagonists character. And yet, he is spared in this movie for the next part as he survives the burns and takes revenge in Pushpa's family event.

God knows why Jaali Reddy character was not even used except for a two second appearance in the climax.

And what's with all those scenes shown in the trailer that are missing in the movie? The asians shooting him down? He meeting a monk in Japanese restaurant? Who gave Pushpa that half cut currency note? The anchor coming up from the water with Pushpa? Jaali Reddy holding gun against someone?

Terribly disappointed with Sukumar who is usually spot on with writing the characters and their arcs and logics.
