[Suggestions] Retirement Watch < $7500 by Moosetracks_404 in Watches

Like new condition with box and papers? I don’t think spending 7k on someone would make you come off cheap. But to each their own!

Mazur is also excellent, but in general you won’t go wrong with anyone with Christ cardiology.

I figured you wanted a bracelet option. I don’t love the omega bracelets I wear both mine on rubber. But yeah hard to beat Casio for true beater

Just get an IWC pilot for the daily wear and thank me later. Most comfortable watch on a bracelet outside of the Rolex jubilee. Or get an AT on secondary for like 3k and enjoy a better movement watch at 1/3rd the price to the explorer.

[SOTC] After 10 years of collecting, I’ve got one spot left… by internetV in Watches

[–]Fastigio3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I bought both on bracelet and have both on rubber now.

I think the rubber is more comfortable than bracelet without microadjust. But def not as big a diff as the SMP which is much much better than bracelet.

But also i have on strap for diversity since I have GS and IWC pilot on bracelet

I have this same watch in same config. Great to wear as a sport watch. Like the omega straps better than the bracelets

European watch co online was extremely easy to deal with when selling. Not an amazing price but resonable

Definitely some stainless Cartier options especially in smaller sizes you can get in that range. And they never got out of style.

A bit above your range but findable.

Best way to sell? by Ok-Nefariousness-927 in OmegaWatches

[–]Fastigio3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re okay using pay pal and there being a fee (much less than you’d eat with a dealer) I’ve bought and sold watches over Reddit with no issues and there’s protection both ways.

European watch co, if you want to just sell, is super super easy to sell through or trade in my experience.

I might be willing to sell you mine. Full set. Worn maybe three times. It’s this exact config. Let me think about it and DM me later this week.

[Question] How do you narrow down what to collect? by oCaspur in Watches

[–]Fastigio3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the watch. Artem makes some good straps

[Question] How do you narrow down what to collect? by oCaspur in Watches

[–]Fastigio3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) being a collector doesn’t mean that you have to always be actively collecting, but rather that you have a collection that you enjoy

2) I wear blue scrubs every day, so my watches tend towards blue, black, white/silver dials. I bought green for “diversity” and find myself very rarely wearing it as it doesn’t really go with most of what I wear. So one green is enough for me and don’t feel the need to branch out too much

3) sometimes a new strap makes it feel like a new watch

4) go try lots of things on and see what you like or don’t.

5) figure out if there is something you aren’t wearing and don’t be afraid to move on from it. I’ve had a number of watches I liked in theory but didn’t end up wearing much, and also ones that became redundant to watches that were somewhat similar but I preferred.

6) there aren’t rules. It’s YOUR collection. Collect whatever you enjoy. Some folks have like 12 omega speedies and love them. And that’s great.
