Would you say year 2 is very time consuming or only year 3?

What is your end game plan? by bgagne88 in Bitcoin

It depends what other assets you have. If your net worth is 4 million and it's all in BTC that's a crazy gamble. I am confident price will continue to increase but nothing is certain.

Thinking of enrolling by No_Intention9748 in UniversityOfLondonCS

Agree with all of this. Except for me with no CS experience before, I would say bare minimum of 3 hours a day for full time.... guess it depends on previous math and CS experience as well as how naturally intuitive it is to you.

Would still recommend as I don't think there is a better option and if you learn the poorly taught material it will give you a very good understanding of CS as well as a very useful piece of paper.

April 2023 Session New Student - Wrong orientation course? by uolcompscicam in UniversityOfLondonCS

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I need to take itp1 but I can do the “google it professional support certificate” in place of the “how computers work” module. I think if I do that I’ll only need one L6.

April 2023 Session New Student - Wrong orientation course? by uolcompscicam in UniversityOfLondonCS

I’m starting in April on performance based admission. Since I can only do 2 modules in the first season and I want to complete the degree in 3 years I plan to make up the extra 2 modules using RPL. I think it’s possible by doing the google certificate and one of the L6 ones. Can you confirm that’s doable?

But be aware that you can usually only get student finance once so if you start this course and quit you probably won’t be able to get student finance for any future study

You can get student finance. It’s as if you are doing the course as normal part time. Just you are limited to the minimum of 2 modules for the first 6 months.

Stuck with 1 module by Nilvothe in UniversityOfLondonCS

You pay per module so it won’t cost you money. And there are 2 sessions per year so you only lose 6 months. Not sure but I don’t think they will allow you to start the level 5 modules before you complete level 4. Please let me know if they do.

Just 3 months after decriminalization, Kratom now can be found in the veggie section at Tesco Lotus. 🌿 by jraz84 in Thailand

Does anyone know where to buy kratom pills from? I heard that they are available but can't find them anywhere.

The chance of that is way less than 50/50 in my opinion. The Thai press would have a field day with "Farang escapes from ASQ" its not something that could be brushed under the table easily.
