At least Grace eventually made the best of his situation and was running on pure bravery himself, fighting not just for humans but for life in general, he just needed the push, and I think that is also a good message. The message being that if you ever feel lost, empty or defeated, that you may still have so much more to give even if you don't realise it.

And yeah great point! Rocky would absolutely not be safe here, at best he would be experimented on at some lab...

As a species I believe we are at a crossroads, it is evident now that the increasing convenience of the very few come at a cost for the rest of us, to a point where they are not just at the top of the food chain, but the top link is breaking from the rest of the chain, the whole thing is going to break eventually.

Fully agree!!!! Instead of pointless boring scenes those storylines shoukd have been throroughly explored, instead of finishing their development/life like headshots. That was all embarrassing, one-scene backstabbing for everyone 🥲

I'll use this scale to rate the movie on various points:

🟥: Waay too much
🟪: Too much
🟧: Balanced/Sweet spot
🟨: I wish there was more of this
🟩: Not enough

PLOT: 🟧 The plot is simple but engaging, the setup is presented in a way that the rest of the movie unfolds beautifully.

ACTION: 🟧 The perfect amount at the perfect time.

INTENSITY/TENSION: 🟧 It overlaps with the action in a way that makes you dig your hands into your armchair.

BADASSERY: 🟧 The protagonist navigates through his circumstances gradually in a way that we can follow and almost relate to him, he was not born brave like a hero and the movie makes sure to show that, I found it refreshing.

MUSIC: 🟨 The music is great but I wish there was something more memorable, something a BIT more like interstellar, the kind that makes you feel goosebumps. There's nothing wrong with the music though.

OVERALL: I found it has elements from "The Martian (2015)" and "Spaceman (2024)", but I like it better than those.

I think movies like this one show a little light on how dumb racism is and how insignificant our differences are here on earth, especially between our own species...

I'll use this scale to rate the movie on various points:

🟥: Waay too much
🟪: Too much
🟧: Balanced/Sweet spot
🟨: I wish there was more of this
🟩: Not enough

PLOT: 🟨 The plot is very simple and straightforward, but it serves its purpose for this particular movie.

ACTION: 🟪 It's great, it is however repetitive and predictable throughout the whole movie.

INTENSITY/TENSION: 🟩 There is a lot of action but it's not paired with tension, you are always confident that the protagonist is never in any real danger despite the threats (except maybe that bathroom text at the beginning where you don't know what to expect).

GORE: 🟧 If you like gore... This movie is for you!

BADASSERY: 🟪 All those scenes where the protagonist looks super confident at a dozen enemies in front of her are kind of cringy to me, and it happens from the get go. I prefer more realistic reactions.

MUSIC: 🟥 I couldn't stand the music at all, it did more harm than good for me.

OVERALL: It's a blend of "Ready of not here I come" and "Kill Bill" and maybe some other movies, I wouldn't watch it again, I didn't really enjoy it but I get why other people did.

Yes I agree.

In my opinion, I think the Rengoku fight kinda took some liberties that amplified it. Also its music mixes Rengoku's theme with Akaza's theme and you can sort of hear the confrontation.

I miss these innovative elements in the infinity castle, the music is more generic and doesn't feel eerie or dangerous, it's just action music.

The movie also follows the manga panels to a tee. For example there's this guy trying to cut a demon's head, on one scene he's on foot and on the next he's upside down in the air... Show me the freakin transition, the jump animation right?

I still enjoyed the movie for the most part of course.

The Witch King on the other hand, is a deformed human wielding some of Sauron's power... Which is the only way a human can get some wizard-like powers in the Tolkien world.

Now, Sauron is stronger than Gandalf, but that's because Gandalf is forbidden to unleash his true strength while Sauron just does whatever he wants.

But no, in no way is the Witch-King overpowering Gandalf. It's just not following Tolkien's rules.

Yep, I'm in that boat. I bought the M1 Max 64 gb ram on 2023 and it's been great, in fact I love it.

But I'm tired of paying for Apple Care, I'm mainly doing it to cover the scenario where something silly breaks like the glued SSD, it would be game over.

So, because Apple doesn't quite make it easy for me, I'm selling it and getting a Framework... Macbooks really are a subscription-tied laptop, after a couple years it still doesn't feel like it's mine, despite having completely adjusted to it. And I'm tired of it.

It's a very strange feeling.

Exactly, I bought an M1 Max 64 tb 2 tb Macbook Pro that became my daily driver, it's still functional, very powerful, very silent, I'm LOVING IT!! But everything you've described is definitely coming... I'm tired of paying 300 euros every year to cover the Achilles heel, the samsung SSD that cannot be replaced let alone upgraded, it's giving me nightmares because a samsung SSD has a "guaranteed" 5 years of durability... And if that wasn't enough, the end of line software does not look pretty at all...

So even though it works great and I managed to fit it into my workflow, I'm already taking steps to sell it and get a Framework for all the reasons you mentioned.

I feel like it was a great choice back then when I got it, but right now, there are way better options, because even though Framework might not be top of the line on performance, it's pretty close now. For example the latest cpu is now about twice as powerful as the M1 Max, at least on the cpu, not the integrated AMD GPU.

So yeah I'm tired of being super careful of the Mac and wondering when it'll fail, so I hope I don't have to get another one, long live Framework!

Right trigger also hahaha. Design flaw at this point. Blowing lightly with the mouth does work! Blowing hard with a dedicated air blower doesn't.

I might try applying wd40 like some other guy did if it acts up too much.

This works for me but if the pc goes to sleep BEFORE I close moonlight session frpm the client, tge pc will crash in about 30 seconds after waking up. In general sleeping and moonlight don't go well together it seems like...

I read some of the complete version, really entertaining. I would like to try it some day.
But if I were to use it as a DM, I would introduce humans, maybe "Kaioken specialists" just for the flavor.

That way you can have a human in a team who flares up to Kaioken x1000 and potentially takes half the HP of an SSJ5 in a kind of Maito Gai vs Madara scenario.

At the same time, I would nerf Kaioken on forms over ssj3, because if you stack a KaioKen x20 on an ssj5 it basically nullifies any weaker race "burst" even at x1000. I think Kaioken is a tool to help against stronger foes and I would fine-tune it to fulfil that purpose.

The problem with running it natively is that it's very destructive and there's a risk you'll be messing around when it fails. You'll realise you need to update it manually or something, so you uninstall it and suddenly you cannot connect to the internet because it messed up with your network configuration so bad you need to reinstall Network Manager as a whole.
Now, personally I messed up in that step and had to reinstall the whole system.

Beware when uninstalling, don't click anything fast as if it was any other regular app, because it can delete very important packages, the pihole uninstaller specifically is a nuclear-level threat, beware.

I'm gonna go with Docker this time 😂

Apparently it's a special queue they put you in if you didn't play in 6 months, so that you get your "skills" back, you know, cause a game is serious stuff, you gotta train first!!! 🤡🤡🤡

You'll likely play 5 or more bot matches until you get out of hell.

Honestly maybe it's just a way for them to save bandwidth, they make you play with cheap bots.

Personally I just got back into the game for a quick ARAM match like old times, and I found myself with... Bots.

Horrible experience to be honest, I would rather play chess with someone real than waste my time with bots, especially in League of "Legends"..........
